The cocktails were super good and the staffs are attentive and are willing to help you no matter the situation arises. Kudos to that!! However:

Concept - From my understanding, this bar came from Myanmar and the staff greet me in Burmese as soon as i came in. So, I thought it was a burmese bar (not strictly burmese but some touches of it). The menu have Tokyo nights drinks which I was confused about because how does Japan link to Burmese bar? The songs playing was Afro music and I was expecting something else from the interior design and the way Instagram profile looks. There isn’t a clear definition of what the bar is going for.

Menu - it has 11 different fonts in one page with different types of headings and titles. It was very confusing to look at and hurts my eyes frankly. Signature cocktails is easy to find but the title like tokyo and hollywood were not explained clearly. There are inconsistency with wordings such as in one part, it is written greygoose vodka and in another, roku instead of roku gin (this might be my lack of knowledge speaking in this area)

Service - Although staffs are nice, they don’t explain much when they serve the drinks. For example, yuzu lemonade comes with sugar crisps on top bur what am I supposed to do with it? Is it for eating, dipping, or aroma? Many confused feelings could be easily solved by them explaining more. They did ask if everything was okay and thank you for checking up again and again.

Last but not least, consistency can be a key to secure a loyal customer base. The sugar on top of yuzu lemonade was burnt the second time I ordered it. To sum it up, yes I would recommend this bar to other people with the precaution to not expect too much. I had a lot of expectations because the reading room on top of RTH yangon is one of my favorites. I would come back to this bar again because I will visit RTH again and will pass by occasionally.
