Kazoku Japanese Restaurant Phuket — Restaurant in Ratsada

We ordered 5 dishes when we arrive. There was only 1 table with 2 person beside us in the very small restraurant. We got served 3 dishes which was ok. Not good but not bad either. The ingredients are not top quality. Very regular Makro quality i can say. After 30 min we asked for the rest of our dishes which were main courses. They thought we were ordering new dishes :) The waitress didnt even took our order properly and we wait for 30 min and no one even asked if we want something more or not 😂😂😂 We ended up sitting inside for 1 hour eating only very mediocre quality 1 sushi and 2 appetizer , hopelessly waiting for our main courses which they totally forget and didnt even checked why we are sitting in the restaurant for no reason 😅 There are at least 10 japanese restraurants only in Phuket old town better managed and food than this restaurant. Came here to eat sashimi on 7th October and was really impressed. Great atmosphere, friendly service and the generosity of the meals was excellent!

Salmon, tuna and scallops were all super fresh and displayed beautifully. We ordered more almost before we finished eating the first serving it was so good! The grilled squid was delicious, cooked perfectly and the owner created a variety of sauces for us to try which were really unique and worked so well together. I wish I could have eaten more but we were already so full 😅

Very reasonable price for food and drinks and by far the best Japanese food I've had in Phuket. Thank you and we will be back...

This place was amazing. I had one of their rice bowls (can’t remember the exact name, but it had a mix of sashimi and toppings), and it was seriously delicious. Super fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully put together. I also ordered the Saba Teriyaki, and it was amazing. The mackerel was perfectly grilled crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and the teriyaki sauce wasn’t too sweet or overpowering. Just right.
