Fraudulent and barely worth a single star.
The food was far from an authentic representation of Chinese cuisine and is not recommended. The Peking duck was dry and tough, while the dim sum was passable at best. The only highlight was the pork belly, which was actually tasty.
The service, however, was an absolute joke. Communication was extremely difficult due to the language barrier, making the entire experience frustrating. Everything took forever, and to top it off, the main dishes and sides were served out of sync—meat first, and rice only after we had nearly finished eating.
It’s worth noting that the restaurant offers a free drink in exchange for a five-star review. Not...
Read moreThe food was so-so. I took noodles with crispy pork and it was served without any sauces, it was superdry so I had to ask for any sauce. Instead they just brought me soy sauce, not spicy I was asking for. My friend ordered rice with all sorts of meat but they forgot to add egg by default so we asked them to add egg. It took 15 min. 15 min to add this default addon. No one speaks English unfortunately. They have more staff there than customers but it's useless. They do not even bother to clean the table but they take 10% more for "service". I would say it is crazy overpriced for the experience we had. The shop looked nice at first. But now I now why it...
Read moreThey only have good ratings because they have a promo to get a free drink if you rate them 5 stars. Incredibly overpriced for what you get. We ordered the surf & turf meal with shrimp gyoza, Peking duck, and a river prawn shrimp bowl. Supposed to be a “savings” and it’s about 800 baht for everything. It was all mediocre. The shrimp gyoza was probably the best thing. The prawns were over cooked and bland, needed to be dipped in one of the sauces to get any flavor. The rice bowl was completely devoid of any flavor. The Peking duck was okay. We trusted the reviews more than the crowds in Chinatown, don’t make the same mistake...
