Food is good but NOT GREAT! I have to say this place is definitely a good place for breakfast as they have extensive menu of breakfast option even with healthy options, making it very attractive for breakfast lovers and for city workers to come for enjoyment out of their busy schedule. The place is very comfortable to come and spend time with ur friends or even work, they have 2 floors of seating area where the pastry and coffee section is on the ground floor, there are a lot of plants and big windows allowing plenty of natural sunlight in it, UNFORTUNATELY their service, food and coffee standard are below standard.
First of all, let's talk about their Customer Service, they know how to take and repeat the order and deliver the food, THAT'S IT. When you come into the restaurant and leave, no greeting or bidding farewell at all, I just came here to spend a not-so-cheap breakfast leaving without being acknowledged and at least say a goodbye or thank you. I wonder if the staff are properly trained for a very basic customer service, they don't seem to know how to greet, say goodbye, say thank you, or even JUST SMILE at their customers who comes to spend money. They look sad and have no facial expression at all. Not to mention when I have problem with my Flat White, because I told the waitress I couldn't taste coffee, it was too milky, right away she told me they use ONLY ONE SHOT for their coffee, then I nicely told her, I ordered Flat White because I prefer stronger coffee, otherwise I would have ordered Latte, she repeated again without any apologetic manner at all by saying they use ONLY ONE SHOT, she didn't seem to want to fix it for me but just correcting me. In the end I asked what can you do as I am not enjoying the coffee, then she offered to change to a smaller cup but still with ONE SHOT, the second cup came, still very milky and the barista simply poured the milk in a rushy manner onto the cup, it looked a big mess. Milk was overly frothed, losing all the texture becoming very hot and watery, after my first sip I already didn't wanna continue, I left the restaurant with the coffee on the table and the staff didn't seem to care.
It's a shame that the baristas/the restaurant don't know about COFFEE, period. They don't know what is Latte and Flat White, when customer have problems, instead of making it right for customer, they challenged the customer and didn't try to make the customer feel happy by at least try to make effort to make it up. They are charging a lot higher than the other coffee shop and when customer is paying a higher price for their coffee, it comes with an expectation for sure, and when the coffee is just not at all up to how it's supposed to be and they didn't wanna make effort. This is just not at all acceptable. For almost half of the price, I can easily get a PERFECT CUP of Coffee at other cafes, for example MONOCHROME, which is just nearby and not only they make excellent coffee, but their service and attentiveness are IMPECCABLE.
Now, I wanna talk about the food me and my friend ordered, we ordered 2 different breakfast with crispy bacon, the bacon I have was soft and chewy, and the bacon my friend had was crispy. Even the chef doesn't care about making the right bacon when the customer ordered crispy bacon, no consistency at all. No quality control. The same items cooked differently served on 2 different plates were just sent from the kitchen without quality control. With the price I am paying, I just couldn't accept that they couldn't even ensure the right texture of the food are properly cooked and prepared.
I WILL NEVER RETURN FOR SURE after today's experience, even the place is very nice. I would rather spend my money somewhere else for a better experience.

HYGIENE: DOUBTFUL as I had 2 diarrhea after leaving...

I have edited my review, since 11 months ago I have been coming to this cafe every time I come to Bangkok because this is our favourite cafe. I went today to celebrate my partner’s birthday on my own Today was very disappointed and I won’t go back to this cafe again . Food didn’t meet standard compared to price I paid, I don’t mind to pay but I need the quality and fresh . There are more new cafes open in every corner of Sathorn and Silom area. I am not sure if they have changed chef or the management but the food was served me today wasn’t good enough for price 354 baht. Halloumi wasn’t ’t good quality and taste was funny . Zucchini was mushy didn’t feel fresh to order even they couldn’t do fry eggs properly. When the food was served I didn’t feel right and wow like before. I am sorry I won’t come back again.
