Still where I love to start many of my days when in Bangkok! Great coffee and always a dynamic collection of excellent cakes -- this morning I'm enjoying a slice of caramel banana cake, warmed at the recommendation of the very friendly owner. Definitely the best deal on Sathorn Sois 10/12, coffee & cake for less than I've paid for just coffee elsewhere. Lots of regulars who come through, including a good number of policemen (in case you appreciate men in uniforms).

Some places manage to leave out the sugar but the coffee is of such quality that I wish they had left it in. Other places don't seem to be aware that a mocha is supposed to have chocolate in it. These guys got it right. THE. FIRST. TIME. And half the price of the places in the malls. And a quiet place to write. Way to go!

Some places manage to leave out the sugar but the coffee is of such quality that I wish they had left it in. Other places don't seem to be aware that a mocha is supposed to have chocolate in it. These guys got it right. THE. FIRST. TIME. And half the price of the places in the malls. And a quiet place to write. Way to go!

Small place for a quick cuppa. Indoor sitting with only 4 tables. Alfresco 2 tables. Indoor was a tat untidy during our visit. Had a orange Choco brownie. I found the brownie way too sweet accompanied with the overly sour orange cream on the top. It would have supposed to strike a balance in your palette but somehow it failed to.
