This restaurant was recommended by W Bangkok where I was staying so naturally I thought, ok great restaurant. What could go wrong? Boy was I wrong.

The red flags should have started right at the beginning when it took a very long time before any wait staff attended to us at the entrance or even put us in at our table. And the amount of time it took to even took our order was a little longer than we had come to expect.

After our order, the food came faster, but the quality was bland to say the least. I had Thai food previously and this felt more like a quality of a chain restaurant, a little bland and not quite good in flavor. Would not have come back and would have dismissed it as just another normal.

However, the service quality put a very bland tasting food over the top into a bad experience. The service is incredibly horrible. Not so much about the attitude of the staff, to be fair they are all polite. But getting something such as spoon are often ignored, forgotten or took a very long time.

In the end; we just quickly ended the meal and left as soon...

Ended up here because of recommendation from W Bangkok staff. They said it was authentic Thai food. The staff at Feuang Nara were very nice and the place is quaint looking.

We ordered Pad Thai, Tom Gha Gai, and Chicken Satay, the dishes came out very quick which was nice. The pad thai tasted like over-cooked noodles with a little soy sauce, the Tom Gha Gai was ok, not as good as we had been eating for the past few days at other places. Chicken satay was fair, nothing to rave about.

Feuang Nara is fairly clean, the only thing that bothered me was the bug zapper in the dining room. It would go off every few minutes, I just don't think it's very hygienic to have one of those indoors next to food considering they supposedly spread bug guts quite a good distance when...

We had dinner here with my family and were quite disappointed. The restaurant was not busy, but the service was very poor, especially towards Thai customers. Staff seemed inattentive—we had to pour our own water, and glasses were just dropped on the table. Only one person was actually working while the others didn’t seem helpful at all.

We ordered the fried fish (490 THB). The inside was undercooked and smelled unpleasant, as if it wasn’t fresh. After asking for a replacement, the second one was overcooked but still had the same bad smell.

Overall, both the service and food quality were far below...

Ok food, but overall disappointed by slow service (our drinks took a long time), and there was not sticky rice! No sticky rice in a Thai restaurant! Disappointing.. (strange because they have Mango sticky rice for desert). The food was also quite spicy in spite of asking for non spicy. On the plus side, once they arrived, the Mango smoothie and the Thai iced coffee were absolutely delicious! Our final disappointment was the Mango sticky rice that we had to return because the bruised Mango and dry rice. They initially did not want to take it back. (see photo).

For our first dining experience in Thailand this place knocked it out of the park! The food was fresh and delectable! We started with the butternut pork as an appetizer then on to our main courses. Had green curry and chicken cashew with veggies! Also, they offer a large variety of drinks, I went for the fresh coconut they prepare and bring to the table. It was excellent and always good to hydrate! This place is very clean, they clean as you eat and it’s very welcoming! This place is a must!

This is the second time I've been to this restaurant (6 months apart) The food is really good. The price is good for the middle of Bangkok. Across the main road is Mahanakhon SKYWALK The service is always friendly. The food doesn't all come out at the same time, but when it's ready. Some people won't like that, but it isn't a problem for me. Rather have the food hot and at the table than it going cold in the kitchen.
