As a resident living near this restaurant, I find it to be a constant nuisance and inconvenience. There is absolutely no regard or respect for the people who live in the area. The public sidewalk is taken over by chairs and tables, and vehicles—including cars, bicycles, and motorcycles—are parked in two rows in front of the restaurant. How do the owners expect residents to walk or commute in their daily lives?
Furthermore, their approach to conducting business is completely inconsiderate, especially towards disabled individuals and the elderly. How do you expect someone in a wheelchair to navigate the area when the sidewalk is almost entirely blocked? What about elderly people who need space to walk or people carrying baggage and luggage? Are we supposed to walk on the road instead, sharing space with cars that could hit us at any moment?
I’ve already reported this issue to the district, but after one notification, it seems nothing has changed—just back to business as usual. Where is the decency for the public? I’ve seen other comments where this restaurant claims to be a “community” establishment. Give me a break. What community are they talking about? Certainly not the one made up of the people who actually live here.
And let’s not even get started on how things are during the rainy season. We can’t walk on the sidewalk, are forced to navigate incredibly dangerous traffic, and have to endure the rain just to get to or from our homes. It’s unbelievably frustrating to share a neighborhood with restaurants like this.
Edit: I had to come back and write more after a recent experience. As someone who shares an alley with this restaurant, last weekend was particularly unbearable. They held some kind of event with DJs and loud music that continued well past their closing time. The music was incredibly loud, showing zero consideration for the people living nearby.
The noise persisted until almost 3 a.m., at such a high volume that the floor and windows of my house, located nearby, literally vibrated and trembled. Is this how you treat your so-called "community"? Families with children and elderly residents live in this area. This is well beyond their bedtime—don’t you have any decency to lower the music volume during late hours?
This is still a neighborhood where people reside, not a concert venue. You should be ashamed of this complete disregard for...
Read moreThis is a great little spot for French cafe classics. Their cheese and cold cuts board wad generous (complete with grapes, nuts, pickles and dried fruits) their Cordon Bleu is probably the best I've had in Bangkok, and their Moules Poulette et frites had me feeling nostalgic of my childhood holidays to France. Authentic, albeit smaller portions than you'd see in france. The red wine and shallot sauce accompanying their striploin was also excellent. Wine selection was good, though the recent tax savings on wholesale wine in Thailand hasn't trickled down to the retail cost clearly! Belgium and Spanish beers on tap were great. I didn't try their cocktails, though. Staff are fast, friendly, and accommodating. This place does come in at the pricier end, but it's worth it for the quality, in my view. We will definitely be back for more moules and to try their cocktail and...
Read moreI went to this restaurant and everything is nice and food are delicious. However, for the service the first waitress treat us nicely and friendly but second waitress seem to be rude and treat us differently from the “ White people” . I am Filipino and I do understand Thai a little bit cuz I traveling here many times already and this is my first time that I was treat like this. I do not know about the can or cannot take pictures. When we were taking the picture beside our table, there is no one told us that cannot take photo but when we go to another side, there is a waitress come to us with an attitude and were saying something. I do not understand much about the whole things she was saying but from my view I think she is not allowed us to take the picture. After that I felt a bit sad and I just leave. Anyway, the restaurant is nice...
