Fancy restaurant with superb food. First time trying Pasta Ama. I ordered multiple dishes and overall the food was great: Spaghetti Sriracha Spicy Carbonara with Crispy Bacon and Onsen Egg: This one was the star of the show. Absolutely delicious! It was a good combination of creamy and little spicy. Recommended! Volcano Scrambled Eggs with Rice: It just felt like an ordinary Pad Kra Pao. It's good but I expected more. It's not that spicy, contrary to its name. Tuna Salad: The vegetables tasted fresh and the tuna was okay. Apple Almond Cheese Cake: Not many variations of cakes were available but this is good, although it's a bit too sweet.
The restaurant is usually very crowded, so better to book in advance. I booked the package menu from Hungry Hub. It's definitely worth the price. However, there's a slight confusion with the staffs related to the package I booked, since not all of them can speak English well, but it's all good in the end.
The restaurant itself is very nicely decorated in Christmas theme, but it was very noisy inside. It makes sense considering the restaurant was fully booked at that time.
Overall, it's a great experience. Would love to...
Read moreCame here on CNY weekday for lunch based on good reviews as the restaurant was near my hotel. It was crowded but there were seats. Was seated at a 2 seater near the counter and kitchen. There was nice music playing, but it was mostly drowned out by the customers talking and the kitchen. Found the place too cold, and the kitchen' s cooking triggered my nose allergies. Saw another customer sneezing when he approached the counter to order cakes.
The service was excellent, and all the staff were friendly and polite. The place was clean and nicely decorated; each table had fresh flowers, which was a nice touch.
I ordered the avocado shrimp toast, and it was filling and delicious. I also ordered what I thought was a lotus biscoff cheesecake and a strawberry yoghurt smoothie. It was my bad not to check the cake price beforehand, but it turned out to be 195++ baht.
Both the cake and smoothie were too sweet and I didn't finish them in the end. For the portion and taste, I didn't find the cake to be of good value. I may come back to try other mains but I won't be ordering any drinks or...
Read moreWe ordered 2 of recommended menu srieacha spicy carbonara and grilled salmon with salsa rice and calamari.
The spicy carbonara was decent but i believe there are some cream in it(fyi those who serious that carbonara should have no cream) rich and creamy with a slightly kick of sriracha to cut through creamyness. Worth a try. Menu code P1
Grill salmon with salsa and rice was a good surprise. Grilled salmon was decent. The real star is salsa and the sauce on the side. Thai style yum sauce sourness help freshen up the dish not to be to heavy. Rice balance out everything together. Healthy and fresh menu. Recommended this dish. Menu code P3
Caramari was okay nothing wrong about it. Just a slightly thick crust on calamari. Maybe a bit more seasoning.
Overall 4/5 Nice place after work dinner or...
