W Lounge — Restaurant in Si Lom Subdistrict

I stayed at the W Bangkok for about a week, and even with a plethora of nearby bars (this hotel is a fantastic location), we still found ourselves at the Woobar every evening at 5pm to start our night with their excellent happy hour deal!! The lounge is upscale casual with a friendly vibe that feels like home. The customer service is incredible, the team greets you back each night with the most friendly manner and they even remembered our favorite drinks, and provided us with delicious complimentary snacks to accompany the drinks.

I want to thank three very special women who made our experience at W Bangkok and Woobar memorable - Mam, June and Georgia. They were all so helpful and fun to chat with, and we gained a lot of knowledge regarding the local highlights and tips for our next trip (Mam literally changed my mind.... my next trip to bangkok will be in 1 year, not 3, and I'm convincing my family to come with!!).

The Raspberry basket caught our eye and we decided to get one as it was very pretty and tall. Ordered a black coffee to go with it & didn't expect it to be served with a chocolate chip peanut cookie, which blew me and the husband away.

We asked the friendly staff Fah, who served us if the cookie was for sale as it was delish. She said it's complimentary with the coffee; it's not on the menu & it's not always available. She told us she could get us some more & she would pack it for us.

To our surprise, it came in a mini box & she gave us 5 & even hand wrote a note for us. That was a very sweet gesture

Comfy seats with charging ports for our phones & nice service. Will return to this lounge if I'm staying here again....
