Charoen Krung Bar & Bistro — Restaurant in Talat Noi Subdistrict

Great food, abysmal service. Cool atmosphere. The staff didn't seem to know that they should serve chopsticks or forks and knives so that we could actually eat the food once it was served. Every dish that was served was handed to one person, and when we asked "what is this dish?" so that we could hand it to the right person, the wait staff had no idea what it was. Additionally, instead of all of our food coming out together, the first persons food came out, and then about 10 minutes later the next persons food came out...until about 45 minutes later, everyone else had finished eating when the last person was served- no exaggeration. We had a group of 9 of us and the staff seemed completely incompetent at handling an order this big.

That said, once the food came out, it was generally very good- the duck, roti, and massaman curry were favorites...

The area surrouding Yaowarat Road is a hidden gem waiting for those who love to venture out of the tourist craze. This bar and bistro is a chilling restaurant with enough Chineses-centric menus that would fill your appetite in an atmosphere resembling old Shanghai.

The food’s taste is alright, mostly for a snack to coupling with craft beer and cocktail. The only complant I have is that it takes a while until the order is served.

This is my third time visiting the place, but I will be sure to come back for more after being bored from other bars...

Food-Highly recommend the main, Mussamun curry!! and Fried shrimp wt/ tamarind sauce, they’re awesome Another dishes were very nice and good taste!

Drinks- look like here’s a heaven for who love creative drinks, and you will get what beyond you think

**pls don’t miss a scented hot green tea!! Even you don’t have time, just grab a cup of drink from here, it will make your day!
