I recently stayed at this hotel which is near Khao San Road. The public spaces are clean, and the dining hall / alleyway leading to the rooms are aesthetically designed. However, the room itself was smaller than what's shown on the Agoda listing, which was a bit disappointing. Despite the compact space, all necessary amenities were available and functional. While the shower worked well, the toilet seat seemed broken. The washroom was mostly clean, and the bed sheets and pillows were fresh, making it very satisfactory from a hygiene perspective.
The hotel's main advantage is its location. It's just four streets away from Khao San Road, allowing easy access to most tourist spots. Nearby, you'll find many massage spas, eateries, and a convenient 7/11 store right outside for water and snacks. Wat Pho and the Grand Palace are only a few minutes away by Grab and Bolt.
One downside is the lack of elevators, which made carrying luggage up the stairs a bit of a hassle. Sometimes, the people at the reception might help you out with this. All guests receive one free water bottle per person each day. The reception staff is very sweet and always greeted us warmly.
We also dined at the hotel's restaurant on our first day. While the food was good, it was slightly more expensive compared to similar eateries in the Khao San area. Nevertheless, it might be worth trying.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel for its excellent location and good hygiene, but be prepared for the small room size and the absence of elevators, which might be...
Read moreI had a dinner in this restaurant. The service is exceptional - warm, and very helpful. For the main dish i had green curry with beef. I asked to have it prepared hot (spicy) - for europeans at least. So the server advised medium, and it was crazy amazing. And you know what - i almost never order desert. I had a bit of a day and i heard about “lemon violin” which was suppose not to be too sweet (i am doing my best to follow low carbs), and it is! One of the most amazing deserts that i had (although i had probably 2-3 during last year). I Highly recommend. And i will do my best to get back here! I honestly like every bit of what i got here. Btw - when i came in, it was quite empty (8pm) - so if it is empty, don’t even consider judging it by crowd size. Definitely worth visiting for very good food. Btw - it’s probably quite cheap, but look at the small spoons they serve… the devil is in the details and they really care...
Read moreWhat an amazing stay in Suraya. I had a great nights stay here.|The hostel is newly opened and I really felt like staying in a hotel not a hostel well ..I got comfy bed, private bathroom, towels plus the room was so lovely and super clean I love theirs artwork. Service was great too, friendly staff! I'll be coming back again :)||POV : Great location it’s surrounded by the good restaurants, lovely local coffee (I highly recommended Kayy coffee and Wanlika) most importantly it’s only taking less than 10 minutes walk to popular Khosan Road. If you wanna take a break from a nightlife I recommend self sightseeing around the hostel there’s so much things to see. I went to thai temple “Wat Bowon Nivet”, which is just across from the hostel. I saw the beautiful golden pagoda from my window so I decided to pay my respect to the temple and I’m glad I did :)||Love this neighborhood and this...
