Tampa Coffee Shop — Restaurant in Thanon Phaya Thai Subdistrict

Tampa restaurant is located inside Florida Hotel, near BTS Phaya Thai station, and could be owned by the hotel. It only accepts credit card if spend more than 500 bahts. The restaurant is spacious, with simple decor. At the time of my visit, not many customers. i initiallly intended to order the set lunch as it inludes soup, and coffee, and cost 350 bahts. However i was told ‘mi di’ (can not) and asked to order other menu items, although i see in the menu the set lunch should be available to order before 2pm, and it was only about 1:30pm or so. Anyway i did not quite understand and can’t help with my limited Thai, so i ordered other items, adding up to  450+baht bill. It turned out the individual ordered items was good, eg lots of chicken in the chicken soup, not salty. The main dish and coffee ok too. i cancelled the vegetable dishes i intended to order with set lunch (not available), so that total amount not exceed my original...

โกยซีหมี่ไก่ ฿150 มีรสชาติละมุน หอมหน่อไม้ ใครที่เคยทานตอนเด็กๆ จะได้ย้อนเวลาที่นี่เลยค่ะ รสชาติที่คุ้นเคย

ซี่โครงหมูบาบีคิว ฿320 ต้องสั่งมา 2 รอบเลยทีเดียว เนื่องจากซี่โครงนุ่ม เนื้อร่อนออกจากกระดูกโดยง่ายดาย รสเปรี้ยวหวานออกชัดเจน เสริฟพร้อมขนมปังที่มีความเหนียวนุ่ม จนเพื่อนๆ ต้องสั่งกลับบ้านกันเลย และมีมันฝรั่งอบมาในจานด้วย

สเต๊กปลาย่าง ฿300 ปลาอินทรีย์ 2 ชิ้นบางๆ ย่างมาหอมๆ มีมันฝรั่งอบและหอมใหญ่เคียง จานนี้ไม่ว้าวเท่าไหร่ รุ้สึกว่าแพง ไม่คุ้มค่า

ข้าวผัดอเมริกัน ฿170 หอมซอสมะเขือเทศ ทำมาลงตัวดี ข้าวเรียงเม็ดไม่แฉะ

ไส้กรอกลูกวัว ฿280 อร่อยอีกเหมือนจานก่อนหน้านี้ ไส้กรอกไม่มีกลิ่น

ปอเปี๊ยะทอด ไม่ทราบราคา ไม่เห็นในเมนู แต่พนง. บอกมีขาย ส่วนตัวเราไม่ค่อยชอบ แต่เพื่อนบอกอร่อยเหมือนกัน

ผัดไทกุ้งสด ฿150 ก็อร่อยดี เส้นเกาะกันแน่นเชียว จะทานต้องตัดเป็นคำๆ เพราะคีบไม่ออก แต่รสชาติผ่านค่ะ

ต้มยำซีฟู้ด ฿300 อร่อยมาก แซ่บได้ใจความ ทานไม่พอต้องซ้ำ ซีฟู้ดค่อนข้างสด

ก๋วยเตี๋ยวขี้เมา ฿150 ผัดเส้นหมี่ได้ดีมาก เส้นไม่ขาด รสชาติกลางๆ

หมูทอดกระเทียมพริกไทย ฿150 หมูไม่เหนียว เคี้ยวได้สบายๆ ใส่กระเทียมให้เยอะดี ติดตรงน้ำมันคงดำ เพราะหมูทอดมาสีเข้มมาก

ไก่ผัดเม็ดมะม่วง ฿120 ให้เลือกว่าจะเอาแบบจีนหรือไทย เราเลือกแบบจีน รสกลางๆ ยังไม่ถูกใจเท่าไหร่

ผัดวุ้นเส้นจับฉ่าย ฿250 ผัดรวมมิตรจีนประมาณนั้น รสดีค่ะ วุ้นเส้นนุ่มเหนียว มีเครื่องในตับ กุ้ง

หมูแดดเดียว ฿250 คืออร่อยค่ะ ไม่เหนียว เคี้ยวเพลิน ทานกับข้าวร้อนๆ น่าจะดี

พล่ากุ้ง ฿200 อร่อยมาก เครื่องเยอะมาก กุ้งประมาณ 3-4 ตัว

บริการ พนง. จะพูดจาห้วนๆ หน้าไม่ยิ้ม ไม่ค่อยมีมนุษยสัมพันธ์เท่าไหร่ บวกค่าบริการ 5% ยังรุ้สึกไม่อยากให้เลยค่ะ เราจะเข้าห้องน้ำ เดินเลยออกไปข้างนอก แทนที่แคชเชียร์ที่นั่งหน้าห้องน้ำจะบอก ทำหน้ายักษ์ใส่อีก ไม่ชอบบริการเอามากๆ เลยค่ะ มารับออเดอร์ก็เหมือนไม่อยากต้อนรับ

ของหวาน เครปไม่อร่อย แป้งหนาไป กล้วยหอมทอด น้ำมันคงดำอะค่ะ กล้วยทอดสีไม่เหลืองทอง ไอศครีมกะทิ ก็อร่อยใช่ได้ค่ะ
