This place is not located in the main tourist area, it's away from that more of a local neighborhood. I checked the menu and the basic dish of pad krapow (which you get everywhere in Thailand for about 40 to 60 baht maximum) ... We not here at Steve's. It's 160 baht. Rip off. Yes Steve's has Aircon (that does not anywhere near justify charging 4 times the normal price, sure charge 80 baht then or even push it and charge 100, but 160 is just nonsense). This restaurant has replaced the original Thai restaurant which was in this place. They served fantastic food, everything was 40 or 50 baht, for pad krapow as mentioned, curry on rice etc, big portions great quality. Now this farang place moves in and quadruples the price . Steve Café & Cuisine is a fantastic spot at the intersection of Samsen Road and Samsen Soi 5! Amazing place. After the first time I went back three more times within the same trip. I really liked the way they give sheets of paper explaining the dishes and what's the restaurant vision. The Okinawa black syrup they give with cappuccino highlights the coffee taste. Special mention to the young waitresses there who are polite and serves with smile. If I have to point out something then maybe some basic English knowledge will really help the tourists to...
