I had Rabokki with a friend and we both didn't find it delicious. I was quite disappointed about the rice cakes. They aren't made with rice flour but rather normal flour. So with chopsticks when you hold one they immediately get split in half which is not normal. This is a very important and basic detail. If you can't provide the main ingredient which is the rice cakes then why have it on the menu? I found the dish quite dry and it was very spicy but not in a good way. I guess they're using Tunisian chilli spices with sugar to imitate the gochujang and gochugaru texture but it wasn't working. Besides the colour is quite orangey when in reality it should be red. Korean cuisine is very diverse and you can create other things like their different types of pancakes or a desert. I feel every korean restaurant have the same menu without any effort to add something new. But it's always good to try and see what the fuss is about...
Read moreRead moreTiny portion, over priced, average standard. I ordered their stir fry with rice, 20 TND, came in the smallest box I had seen in my life. I am Asian and had been to all sorts of asian restaurants. The food here is very average standard, nothing fancy, tastes average. I am Asian so I know. Just FYI, Korean food is known as Asian’s fast food. And even they put their kimchi in a fancy dish, it is still just kimchi. From the look of it, their ramen is just convenient noodle (instant noodles), which you can buy from any Asian grocery store for 1 TND and cook it in 3 mins. For the same price, I ordered from another local restaurant that the portion is literally double of this Korean place and tastes the same. I wonder why would anyone visit here again? I think this place is just to trick Tunisians who’s looking to try ‘exotic’ Asian places. But If you are looking to try some quality Asian food, this is...
As an asian food lover and as one who tried my fair share of korean restaurants imma leave you with a detailed review of my experience so you'll know what to expect when going. First thing you need to know is that the place is so small, so you're going to wait outside the restaurent for your turn. and the tables too, are small so if you're a group of 3 or more it's not gonna be that comfortable. Moving on to the food, I had Racbokki (ramen+teokbokki) it was sooooo spicy so for people who aren't into spicy food don't even consider that dish. Their sweet and spicy chicken wasn't so bad (minus the salad and the fries that were so irrelevent). The service was good though I won't deny that, but the food was not that good; especially the rice and the Kimchy that was not kimchying. So I'd say the experience wasn't so bad, and if you want to go try to avoid lunch hours because it will be...
