Café Theater — Restaurant in Tunis

The good: -they give u a receipt unlike any other restaurant we been in Tunis -they have a huge outdoor terrace -food it's ok,better then any other restaurant we eat in Tunis -food comes fast -they have the menu in English also -staff are nice -they have nice teas The bad: -they don't seem to clean the tables,we always had to wipe our tables -lots of cats surround u once your food comes out making u feel uncomfortable -some chairs are broken -there seems to be some sort of ineffective communication between waiter and kitchen,not sure which one of them is not taking in serious customers food requests,I had ordered twice pasta Bolognesse asking for no onion and no garlic in it,both times it came with onion,first time I told the waiter he brought me a new one without onion,third time we had dinner in here my pasta came again with onion,haven't noticed it untill it was to late and made me feel really sick.

Overall I do recommend this restaurant over any other restaurant we had tried in Tunis,u just have to be very careful if u have certain allergies,u can't trust 100% that allergies or food intolerances are taken seriously in here,which leads to a very unpleasant experience for u once u had eaten something u...

Unfortunately, during my visit to this cafe in December 2022, I was quite disappointed with the service. The person who served us drinks was rude and impolite, which was a stark contrast to the experience I had during my previous visits. I've been a regular at this cafe whenever I'm in the capital, Tunis, and those past visits always left me with great memories. However, this time, the attitude of the staff was completely different. The person who served us seemed as though he was doing us a favor, and his arrogance was evident. It left a really negative impression of the place, which was once known for its respectful, calm, and friendly service. Beautiful place to Visit in Tunis. The coffee was delicious and the food was amazing. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in the capital. You have an area just for drinking and an area for eating. You can sit inside or outside it's your choice. The best part about outside are the friendly cats. Be warned, if you feed them they will not leave you alone. They might even take it upon themselves to take a seat.
