Pera Bakery — Restaurant in Beyoğlu

A lovely little cafe-bakery combination with attentive and polite staff. The shop has a surprisingly nice street view which looks down a staircase, offering a narrow, quaint view of the Golden Horn. The ambiance is quite nice, and the music being played is soothing. Additionally, the food is filling, tasty, and affordable. The service for coffees and teas is reasonably swift. To find the entrance of Pera Bakery, step off the main road and walk up a few steps of the nearby alley, where the door stands. I stumbled on this gem 2 years ago when I stayed at a nearby apartment and on this trip I was adamant on coming back. The place is so cozy and gives really nice vibes. It’s the definition of adorable coffee shop around the corner. The staff is always very welcoming and make you feel at ease with their smiles. I tried the mozaik cake and my dad had the cheese poğça. The mozaik cake is their version of the lazy cake which I haven’t had in years.. and it was really good.

Cute little space with amazing bakes and coffee. We came here after our gym session from the hotel beside.

We sat by the long window and it was an amazing day to people watch. We went around 11am and the place was quite empty and just a cosy vibe.

I ordered a berry cheesecake and it even had a little chocolate fudge at the bottom!
