The problems started with the table reservation. I sent a request for a table reservation to Instagram, I received an automatic response. But I wanted to celebrate my mom's anniversary in this restaurant, I wanted to sit at a table with a nice view. So we called the restaurant, they couldn't find my reservation for a long time, but they found it and said that everything would be in the best shape. When we came to the restaurant, there were signs "reserved" on the best tables, but we were seated at a vacant table that was not the most beautiful. My husband told our dissatisfaction to them and they still put us at a better table. Then the manager or the head waiter came to us, I do not know, in a white T-shirt, he translated the order from English to the waiter. He behaved inappropriately and rudely. I tried not to notice it, so as not to spoil the birthday. The waiters were polite and pleasant. But there are big problems with the service (water was brought to us only for hot dishes). Ceviche (salmon, shrimp, sea bass) was on the verge of freshness. The hot dishes were delicious. We went to another place for dessert. There was no congratulation of my mother even in words. Bewildering experience here, firstly stunning location, beyond that was a bit of a mess.

First thing might be a preference but for me in a place that is trying to promote itself as fine dining I don't want to have to scan a QR code for the menu, give me a menu so I can leisurely look, and share with my family.

Secondly the phrase that I heard muttered the most from the staff was "technical difficulties" when the wine I chose from the online menu wasn't available. When my wife's starter didn't arrive, there were again profuse apologies about the technical difficulties.

Next thing I know the waiter is very proudly bringing along what we assumed must be my wife's starter..... Nope this was another technical difficulty, it was my main a whole 20 minutes before the other mains. What a shambles. I think there are better options in Istanbul and it's a shame as I wanted this to be a special night in Istanbul on our last night, we will be remembering it for very different reasons....

My feelings are very mixed. First we were seated in a very small and sad room, detached from the two very pleasant larger rooms. We were told that tables in the larger rooms, which make 90% of seats in the restaurant, were only open “upon special requests”. After asking kindly we were offered one table which was still not in the nicer rooms, but right next to the kitchen (with a lot of waiters passing by), but at least not in the very sad room.

On the bright side service was professional, glasses were excellent and the wine was great (which should be expected at the price).

The food unfortunately was so so in my opinion. The Tuna had a great quality, but unfortunately came on a very sweet sauce which dominated the taste. The sea bream was overcooked so dry that we even returned it (and weren’t charged for it). All in all we were quite disappointed, as we felt that our experience wasn’t worth the price tag.
