A Heartfelt Thank You to Kebapçı Özcan Usta My son and I wrapped up our evening with the most wonderful supper at Kebapçı Özcan Usta, and we’re still smiling just thinking about it. We were first drawn in by the owner himself, who welcomed us with the kindest, most genuine smile — a gesture that set the tone for the entire experience.

The food was absolutely delicious. The kebabs were seasoned to perfection — juicy, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The grape leaves tasted homemade, perfectly tender, and bursting with flavor. Every dish was prepared with love, and it truly showed.

This is a family-run restaurant, and what a delightful, beautiful family they are. Our waiter and waitress were both incredibly warm and attentive, embodying the very best of Turkish hospitality. They made us feel so welcome, as if we were dining in their own home.

We finished with a smooth, comforting rice pudding and a freshly made Kanafa that was just the right amount of crispy and sweet. Each bite was a treat!

My family and I had spent a few nights in Istanbul but yet to taste a decent kebab. We were almost close to abandoning the idea until we were stopped at this restaurant. The owners were so kind to consider our childrens allergies and recommend the right food for our kids. Some other customers also recommended that we stay and try the food especially the cag kebab. OMG!!! That was the best recommendation, we ordered twice, even my son's pizza was so authentic, my daughter finished every bit of her food although she was disheartened with poor quality kebab lately but not this one. We also had kunefe with light syrup which was just right sweetness with some tea. Overall we love this restaurant so much, it's situated in a bustling traditional food area and it's run by a super friendly lovely family.
