I had the pleasure of dining at Stera Istanbul, and I can confidently say it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere set the tone for a truly exceptional evening. The restaurant itself is a 5-star gem, with impeccable design and a stunning ambiance. But what truly made the experience memorable was the service, and I must give special recognition to our waiter, Savas.

Savas was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure our meal was perfect. His knowledge of the menu was impressive, and he provided excellent recommendations that elevated our dining experience. He managed the balance of professionalism and warmth flawlessly, making us feel both welcomed and cared for.

The food itself was fantastic, and paired with the incredible view of Istanbul—it's hard to imagine a more perfect dining experience. The view alone is worth a 100 out of 10!

We were excited to enjoy a rooftop drink and appetizer. What we got was a 30 min wait for two mojitos and a plate of hummus. Only we didn’t get mojitos, we were delivered two cocktails called “two-faced”, jagger cocktails. 30 min for the wrong drinks and the roof was maybe 1/4 full. Oh yes we were given a plate of hummus, but no bread or veggies, just a fork and knife. In the end we walked out. I couldn’t recommend this place less. My wife and I both work service industry and have incredible patience and respect for servers, bartenders, etc. This is my first negative review I’ve ever posted. It was a horrible experience. My second time in Istanbul and it’s the first place to stop by. Breakfast is delicious and variety is great! Should I even mention the view? I truly don’t know how they maintain reasonable prices just because the location itself gives you impression of high class restaurant. It’s conveniently located right at the center of most attractions: both of the bazaars (grand and Egyptian), Blue mosque, topkapi, etc. Most, I would even say all are walking distance. Breakfast was 750 liras and we couldn’t finish it 2 of us. So if you are sharing it makes even more affordable that it already is. I recommend it to everyone who travels to IST.
