I don't know with what to start this review, but for sure I can say this: all the days me and my wife spent in Goreme, was amazing.. during the day we enjoyed all the activities but as soon as it was dinner time we were so excited about going again to Aysel'in Mutfagi!
The food, oh the food.. it was so delicious, especially the chicken mushroom sauce, our special and the pot kebab! The taste was amazing, like nothing else we tasted before! The food was always hot, very fast service and the prices were very, very good! We received appetizers every time and every night those were different!
After Goreme, we left to stay a few days in Istanbul and we though we will eat good food there too, but we were disappointed that in all Istanbul we haven't found food that tasty, not even close!
The owner was the cook and the owner son was very hospitable and welcomy! He helped us with tips and advices, he recommended us which are the best meals from the menu, he was always very careful, in fact all the staff was very nice and gave us the feeling of a restaurant that you would want to come and eat 3 times a day!
They even plotted with my wife one night, because it was my birthday and suddenly, the music stopped and a happy birthday song started playing and they came with a small and delicious cake with candles and sparklers.. that was the cherry on the cake! Speechless about their attention to details!
Would love to come again next year and eat there everyday! Congratulations for such an amazing restaurant! Hello from your...
Read moreWe came here stopped by a young guy while walking along the street, frankly surprised to see the first and only cocktail bar advertising in this part of the city. This young fellow told the story: the bar come from an idea of a couple of young univetsitary students anc cocktail lovers that after studying here decide to build their little dream. In the evening we decided to give it a try. The bar is located on a terrace with nice look on the underway life. With young customers and nice european music on the background its ment for young people. Taking to account that spirits are costy and difficult to find in this part of the country, we can say that prices were affordable : about 140tl for a simple mojito, the same for gin and tonic. At least better than Istambul we were charged a heavy 195tl for a mojito. Maybe ice was a bit undesized, but there was good will (and ingredients) in making these drinks so i put 4 stars. Drinking my drink, a gin and tonic, I was striked by the unique flavor of the gin: spicy and perfumed. The young guy showed me the bottle: it was a local one. In konya in a wine shop i bought a bottle for cheap money and now I'm looking forward to...
