Oze Coffee Shop — Restaurant in Göreme

Don't come here. The owner, a bold guy smoking inside with the doors closed,smoke everywhere, kicked us out, Also being disrespectful to my family because we wanted to buy coffee to go instead of seating inside breathing the disgusting smell while he was smoking. I don't know what his issue is, first he saw us coming in and didn't say anything,he was just seating inside smoking. We were ordering some coffee, and when I got my credit card to pay he quickly got up and said we needed to get out because they were going to close, that there was no power in the credit card machine. Ridiculous and complete disrespect, absolutely cero customer service. I think he got mad because we didn't wanted to stay inside to eat anything or drink because he was smoking while all doors were closed and the smell was bad. Also he looked racist to me,maybe because we were Hispanic,I don't know. None should step foot inside this place. I looked at other reviews from even 2 years ago and this bold guy was doing the same thing, kicking people out for not apparent reason. So my advice is to never come here. I think he just likes kicking customers out depending on your race,color...

1st visit - no smile. Wasn't acknowledging our order. Was served by an older guy.

2nd visit - no smile. Rude and sarcastic tone of voice. Served us with an attitude. Was served by a young guy with long hair.

3rd visit - still the same with no smile or greetings. Served me with an attitude as if I owed money to the shop. Rude tone of voice. Was served by a young guy with long hair.

Came back 3 times just to see if it's just me or is the service really bad. Turns out they have zero customer service. Zero respect for their customers. Zero smile. No matter how good your cakes or pastry or whatever is there if you have zero respect for your customers they won't come back the next time they visit kapadokya. I can safely say I visited many shops all of the owner were very friendly. Really nice and greeted us. Even if we just go in to have a look. I loved how the people are over here and also the place. But I hope my perspective of the people here won't change just because of the workers here at OZE...

Definitely don’t go here, trust me! I asked for a Small cappuccino, with 2 shots. I asked how many shots are in the Large cappuccino, they said 2. Large cappuccino is 160, so I obviously should have payed exactly that, as I’m getting the same shots with less milk. Turns out, she tried to charge me 220. I said why are you charging this amount? From there I knew they were bad news. Once she corrected the amount, the coffee that came out was actually only a single shot! Additionally, the espresso isn’t dialed in at all, meaning it was acidic and was extremely weak. Just to make things worse, when I complained about the coffee, they remade it for me. The coffee they brought to me was just as weak, and had bits of plastic placed inside! Probably because they didn’t like that they got caught out trying to scam me and I got a little heated.
