Absolutely LOVED the vibes and atmosphere of the restaurant!!! Chose some delicious dishes that were presented very beautifully!! Tempted me to take pictures all evening with my aunt and I!! we ordered the lamb kebap in a most rustic and cute looking pottery that made both my aunt and I’s mouths salivate!! So exquisitely delicious I can’t tell you how tasty it was!! the moment it hit out tastebuds, we had already devoured it in the blink of an eye HAHA!! Lastly, OMG. Their kunëfë and rice pudding (this delectable dessert ought to have a special name as it was well made I felt as though I was eating from a 4 star Michelin chefs special handmade treat!!) are to DIE FOR!!😍 the nuttiness, the chewiness, the stretchiness while yet not too heavy with that light thin layer of pastry is absolutely DIVINE!! 10/10 to our wonderful host Turgut for attending and catering to us while being friendly and very accomodating!! As a lovely gesture, he even gave us free Turkish tea on the house which was very sweet of him!! My aunt fell in love with the Turkish apple green tea which was very fragrant and not too heavy but tasty as I picked the original Turkish tea which was very fragrant and a beautiful saturated colour and pleasing to the eye :) 10/10 will come back for future travels in cappadocia, turkey and let all friends and family know to come here💕 also tip: come during evening, the lights out in cappadocia feel as though you are in a city...
Read moreyou can find a better taste on a random food stand anywhere. definitely not should be at a tourism center. it's not that the taste wasn't good enough. some taste was disturbingly bad.
we visited with friends, ordered different plates to try different food. soup was okay. meatballs, pide and salad was revoltingly bad, (tasted like the food on the plates had a sleepover in a dirty broken fridge before being served) testi kebab was not too bad but it was not something that you'd eat for the taste (shouldn't be something you say for a real testi kebab). we were there for the taste and we were disappointed.
if you think of visiting for photographs, don't even bother for that also, because the testi breaking thing was totally fake. the process was instead carefully removing an attached lid of a small cup with small hits. not a testi, not a breaking.
I can't compare the prices with other restaurants in the area, but it was double the price and 2/3 the serving size compared to other restaurants in non touristic areas. which could be at least half acceptable if I did not hate the things I ate.
The service and waiters were alright, the atmosphere was nice. but seriously, it is a restaurant, for eating food, and preferably not feeling bad about it. I am not a gourmand or anything, I have rather simple tastes, but I am pretty familiar with the food I am...
