Big Al's Island Grill — Restaurant in Providenciales

Would like to comment on the food but the service was soooo bad we never did get any. We arrived at 6:15 and sat down . No one came out until I chased her down and she handed me menus and walked away. I chased her down to order. Simple fish and chips and a burger order taken at 6:40 . Another couple, local given the long conversation the waitress had with her had their drinks immediately and food in 10 minutes. We waited for 45 minutes when I asked if the food was coming. “10-15 minutes “ she told me. That’s longer than it takes if I put the order in now. 30 minutes goes by still no food. It is almost 8:00 . I enquire again she tells me the same thing10-15 minutes more. After 15 minutes we left never getting our food after 11/2 hours plus. Don’t wreck your evening dealing with this level of rudeness. The place was almost empty and they couldn’t get an order out. First time ever in 28 countries we have ever had to leave. A restaurant for this level of service. Not to mention the attitude we got when we didn’t...

Sorry but no. Big disappointment. The food is expensive. You see the amount of sweet potato fries in this photo? They were 6 dollars!

After ordering my margarita and good, I got my drinks right away, but it felt like an eternity to get my food. I flagged down the waiter who was so busy even though there were no customers, and hand the manager yelled the cooks name and then my food came. It was cold. The manager just came by to check on my and I told her the food was cold. Their solution: take.my food and heat it in a broiler that made my burger bun hard as heck and fries dry. Also, I noticed that my bbq cowboy burger had no onion rings and when I told her, she just said "no?".

I visited the island alone and it seemed that it bothered them that I took up. Awhile table for just me, when I was the ONLY customer there. They say they take covid serious but one party had a guest that coughed up her lungs the entire time..

Cold food, slow service, bad service recovery, small portion sizes....

There wasn’t an option for zero stars or I would’ve chosen it. The service was the worst service I have ever received in my life. Server didn’t even write down our order which is why I’m not surprised it wasn’t correct. Ordered one appetizer a Caesar salad mozzarella sticks that I specified I wanted when the meals were brought out and two sides of crinkle cut fries. She brings mozzarella sticks and guacamole first as I asked not to then thirty seconds later comes back with all of our food. Never checked on us once for me to tell her she messed up and brought us stuff we didn’t order. There’s were two bar customers and four tables at the time including us. So disappointing. Had to go get my own check from the other waitress at the bar who was hesitant to give me change of a $5 bill. Will never go back and don’t recommend...
