This review is based on an August 2022 review This is definitely an American style sports bar. TLDR: Okay food, better drinks, entertaining place. There are lots of Screens to watch all your favourite sporting events. There are also video gambling options at the inside bar/dining area. Through my quick glancing, I noticed virtual roulette. I assume it is connected to some kind of server/network. The Majority of the dining area is all open air with some seats being more exposed to the elements than others, If there is a downpour everybody should still be moderately to mostly dry. On this visit, I had the Quesadilla with a "liquid MJ" to drink while my partner had the Pita. The Quesadilla tasted like it came directly out of the microwave, (not fresh) but the drink was good. The Pita was much better tasting. It was presented looking like a pizza. The preferred payment method appears to be card for all the plastic/device lovers out there. This is a place that is more about the experience/company than the food. I would go here again for the entertainment and drinks. One star removed for the below average food, and another removed for such an overly typical menu.

I got the popcorn shrimp and it came with actual popcorn and my friend got the queso nachos. I should have ordered that. My shrimp were good tho! The best food I have had in a long time when traveling. Sometimes you don't expect things to be the same when you visit international restaurants, but this place has it all! Every night there's something different. It's right on the main strip across from Jai's. It's in walking distance of most of the hotels and villas on Ventura Blvd. You'll hear the dj. They have all American food as well as your traditional Prov food. It's pricey everywhere on this side. There's outside seating as well as indoor air conditioned seating. I didn't know it until I left but they have penny slot machines in the back. It's clean. My waiter Joseph was my all-time favorite part! Everyone was super cool and personable. We went on a Wednesday and it was game night. There was an extra large connect four game that we played. Be sure to take lots of cool pictures around the signs. This is definitely a go-to spot to grab something to eat in Grace Bay.

I am revising a previous review where I had said it was always casual and delicious. So conveniently located in Grace Bay. After recently visiting with 9 people, only one person reported enjoying their meal. That is a pretty poor percentage. Most of us didn't even eat half of our meals. The "beer battered" onion rings definitely never touched any beer batter. Our vegetarian guest was told there was no curry seasoning for his dish so he had to re-pick from very limited offerings. Two of our party are restaurant managers and they actually left in the middle of the meal to try to find food elsewhere. There was live music of a one man show and he did well but are giant speakers needed in a half empty establishment? We were not able to even talk amongst ourselves. I also had to tell the manager that all of the fans were running backward so they were providing no relief on a hot August day. I don't think we will ever go back there again unless we see new 5 star reviews.

Terrible service and all around bad servers. Over 45 minutes to get food to the table. 3 different rotating servers and when we asked one about an order they had no idea that another server had placed an order for us. This happened several times. The place wasn't even busy and there was no excuse for the worst service anywhere on the island. It was almost like a Saturday Night Live skit. Any server would have to try very hard to be as bad as these were. No apologies, no explanations, just no caring or concern. It was actually insulting. We were disappointed because someone recommended this place to us and we were very much looking forward to eating there. Absolutely worse than one star, if I could give negative stars this place would get them. I highly recommend that you avoid them. There are too many nicer places to choose from. UPDATE: I just returned from another week in Providenciales and we had limited choices in town that were open thanks to the pandemic. We reluctantly decided to try Danny Buoys again. We showed up with a group of 12, without a reservation, and we had a slightly better experience this time. There appeared to be one hostess, one server, and one cook working. The food trickled slowly from the kitchen but we were enjoying ourselves and I heard only a few negative comments from our group regarding the slow food delivery. Their pizza was good, some good food offerings. The staff was friendly and polite. The place was clean, we ate under a covered patio, and we mostly had the place to ourselves with only one or two other couples dining also. I raised their rating from 1 star to 3 stars after this visit. If this place had good, caring management that really wanted to run this place to its full potential then their location and large open dining area could make Danny Buoys a goldmine. It's too bad that they don't have...

Danny Buoy's = slightly elevated Sports Bar + Applebees..depending on what you order & what type of fun/entertainment you want in the evening. For a first nice fast and easy dinner upon landing in Turks and Caicos where everyone in your party can find something they like to eat, this place is a hit. The service was friendly but not attentive- drinks stay empty and had to ask for refills. There were certainty some food highlight from our meal - the walleye fingers, the macaroni & cheese side (beware it has an awesome flavorful kick), the fire roasted goat cheese pita...the jerk chicken wrap although recommended by the waiter as one of best dishes on the menu, was meh & lacked flavor. We also tried the fish taco's which was recommended - and it was a split decision..without the supplied "sauce" they lacked any real flavor. One surprise hit of the meal however was the house salad, which contained eggs and dressing which was sweet (some sort of berry flavor) but not sickeningly so. Overall it's an easy "reminds" you of "ok" food from the states that makes it easy for the entire group to eat at - so overall, food is probably 3 stars...but the variety and the fact that you can find some hidden gems...
