During my recent visit to Entrecote in Yas Mall, I had a mixed dining experience that left much to be desired. While the service provided was commendable, the overall quality of the food failed to meet expectations and was inconsistent compared to my previous visit to their Shangri-La branch.

Starting with the positives, the service at Entrecote Yas Mall was notable. The staff members were attentive, friendly, and ensured that our needs were taken care of throughout the meal. Their professionalism and promptness added a level of comfort to the dining experience.

However, despite the good service, the food at Entrecote Yas Mall was a disappointment. The main issue was the excessive saltiness that overwhelmed the flavors of the dishes. It was unfortunate that the kitchen did not find the right balance, as it affected the overall enjoyment of the meal. Furthermore, a significant drawback was the inconsistent temperature of the food, with many dishes arriving at the table lukewarm or even cold. This further detracted from the dining experience and compromised the quality of the meal.

It's disheartening to note that the Yas Mall location did not meet the standards set by its sister branch at Shangri-La. In my previous visit, I had enjoyed an impeccable dining experience with well-balanced flavors and perfectly cooked dishes. The inconsistency between the two locations is concerning and suggests a lack of attention to detail in food preparation at the Yas Mall establishment.

While the ambiance of Entrecote Yas Mall was pleasant, featuring classic and stylish interior decor, it was not enough to compensate for the shortcomings in the food quality. Inconsistency in both the taste and temperature of the dishes hindered the overall dining experience.

In conclusion, my visit to Entrecote in Yas Mall left me with mixed feelings. • What a delightful experience at Entrecôte Café de Paris, located in Yas Mall. The food was wonderful, the service was good, and the ambiance was lovely. The location is very convenient, near the main hall of the mall and close to other restaurants.

• From the beginning, we felt very welcomed by the staff. The lady who served us was professional and polite. Overall, all the staff were friendly and helpful. The food arrived quickly, just like the rest of the service.

• We decided to try the Beef New Zealand (195 AED) with Salad & Fries (55 AED), and it was the best choice. The beef was incredibly tender, the fries perfectly crunchy, and the salad simple yet very flavorful. Everything was delicious! To finish the great meal, we had a Crème Brûlée (34 AED) with an Espresso Single (19 AED). The Crème Brûlée was one of the best I’ve ever had, simply perfect! [Prices from December/2024]

I’m a frequent customer of Entrecote in Qaryat Al Beri. I thought that I’d get the same experience. My experience in Yas Mall was devastating. They usually serve salad a piece of bread. Once we’re done with the salad, they start serving the Steak and some fries. They rushes with the steak and the fries before we finished the salad. We had A7 Wagyu and a New Zealand Steak. The Wagyu had a piece of paper. The manager was kind enough to give us a discount and complimentary dessert. The thing is, the waitress tried to cover for the chef… the manager was very understanding and initiated an investigation.
