KAYU Bistro — Restaurant in Abu Dhabi

I recently had the most delightful experience at KAYU galleria mall Abu Dhabi with a plate of pasta, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! The dish was perfectly cooked to an al dente texture, offering just the right amount of bite by Abhishek.The sauce was rich, flavorful, and expertly balanced, with fresh ingredients that elevated every bite.

The portion size was generous, yet it didn’t feel overly heavy. What stood out most was the attention to detail—freshly grated Parmesan, a drizzle of high-quality olive oil, and a sprinkle of fresh herbs made the dish truly unforgettable. It was comfort food at its finest, with a gourmet twist.

If you’re looking for a meal that feels both indulgent and authentic, pasta is the perfect choice. I’ll definitely be coming back for more! Thanks Abhishek for making this experience best for me. Will surely come again to...

Excellent signature cake, although the caramel was slightly ruining the dark chocolate intensity taste. I suggest removing the caramel and perhaps replacing it with espresso. The cappuccino was very good with a very little milk. Yes, it should have more milk, but I liked it that way.

The service was very good, although the staff seemed a little stressed out. The cafe was empty, and later someone came. We were the only customers.

It’s located not in a very good location in Galleria Mall, but certainly it was very calm and in a much quieter location.

I’ve never had dessert that wasn’t sweet when it was meant to be sweet. I’d understand if the dessert I had was like made of dark chocolate and therefore meant to be not too sweet but I ordered the Kayu Signature which is meant to be this concoction of chocolate crème and it was so bitter and had no taste of chocolate? All I could taste was the bitterness. Same thing with the soufflé my friend ordered so bitter! The only good things about the experience were the coffee and the service but that’s it.
