I must PRAISE the Chefs, as the food was delicious and big congratulations to all of them for doing a great job! I would give them more than 5 star. I must say, the service needs a serious training as it lacks professionalism and luxury hospitality feel. Reception ladies are rather neutral on a cold side, there was no warm welcome feeling. The waiter staff are either new joiners or confused, some very relaxed and don't care. When I asked some questions about the certain mocktail from menu, the gentleman staff member replied: " I don't know, I did not try it". He did not attempt to check with any of his colleagues. He felt very comfortable replying in such a way to clients in an award winning restaurant with high prices on menu. And yes, the mocktail what I ordered (by wild guess) was not worth trying, and moreover not worth 65 AED at all. However, the waiter staff made some food recommendations, when asked. On another occasion, one waitress staff asked when I was settling the bill: "Would you like to leave tips?" I was puzzled by such unprofessionalism, as you simply can not ask for tips, it is very cheap and beyond any ethics in restaurant service! I don't leave tips for mediocre service. During my entire UAE living experience, this was the first time the establishment of such calibre asked bluntly to leave tips.... In short, there was NO high class service as expected from the restaurant of such ranking. Do I feel coming back to Zuma? Perhaps when the management can be improved and ultimately the staff training is in line with luxury standards and high menu...

The restaurant’s modern yet elegant design sets the perfect stage for an exceptional dining experience. But what truly made my visit unforgettable was the impeccable service, especially from our waiter, Dilan.

Dilan went above and beyond to ensure our evening was nothing short of perfection. His knowledge of the menu was impressive, and his recommendations were spot-on. He guided us through the culinary journey with genuine enthusiasm, making sure every dish was tailored to our preferences. His attentiveness and friendly demeanor added a personal touch that made us feel truly valued as guests.

The food, of course, was outstanding. Each dish was a masterpiece, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. From the delicate sashimi to the perfectly grilled robata, every bite was a delight. The cocktails were equally impressive, expertly crafted and refreshing.

What stood out the most, however, was Dilan’s dedication to making our experience memorable. He checked in just the right amount, ensuring we had everything we needed without being intrusive. His professionalism and warmth truly elevated our evening.
