Bacolenos Grill - Reef Mall Branch — Restaurant in Dubai

Food was good the first two times we ordered from Bacoleños, which is why we came back. We always ordered the inasal na paa.

But last night was disappointing. The chicken wasn’t as hot and fresh as before—seemed like it was reheated. Mine tasted okay but not as flavorful as the last times. My daughter’s chicken, however, was undercooked. You could still see blood on the meat and bones. I showed it to the crew, but no one apologized or even explained. They just ignored it when I went back to the counter.

It feels like they can’t keep up with demand anymore and are rushing the cooking. Such a shame because we really enjoyed our first visits and I even recommended them to friends. But after this, I told my daughter we won’t eat here again—food is inconsistent and customer...

Disappointed with the extra charges for calamansi 🍋🍋🍋

I’ve always loved ordering Palabok online from Bacoleleńos Grill, and today, I finally visited their shop in Al Ghurair to enjoy my favorite dish.

As I started eating, I asked for extra calamansi, since the serving size was large and the one tiny piece they provided wasn’t enough. I asked for 2 pcs kc sobrang liit ng calamsi. To my surprise, they said they can only give 1 and had to pay extra because calamansi is expensive.

Honestly, I wish I had just brought my own calamansi from home. Unfortunately, this experience left me disappointed, and in the end, di ko na inubos food ko. Tinake out ko nalang kasi madami kami calamansi sa bahay 😅 Mdjo mataray/unapologetic din ung cashier kaya nkakawala din ng gana...

I loved the food at Bacolenos Grill in Reef Mall - their inasal is a must-try! However, our second visit didn't quite live up to expectations due to some service issues. We arrived about an hour before closing and were told they were out of chicken, but the staff informed us of the remaining available options on the menu. We ordered something else, but then they suddenly said they couldn't take our order because they were “already closed”, despite still having an hour left. It seemed like they were just overwhelmed with orders and didn't want to take on more. A bit disappointing, but the food quality is definitely there. Hopefully, they can work on improving their service and train their staff to provide better...
