Story time. May 8 was my wedding, and the reception is in this place. Before that day, my friend already booked the VIP ROOM which they never mentioned that we have to pay. We already sent them 500 AED for downpayment. They just told us that 15 person will be paid and 1 additional person is free and that we can use the VIP ROOM. So we expected that it was free, we even asked if they could decorate it and that is the only thing they ask us to pay for 300 AED, so we said that there’s no need and that we will be the one that will decorate it. The day came and the event ended, when we are paying for the 385 balance, we were shocked that we have to pay more. We ended up paying 1297 AED. Extra charges, and the VIP room was not free. Me and 15 guests are going to report this to Consumer Rights. My friend who booked called them after knowing how much we paid, and asking for a refund because they overcharge us. And they just said that it was their fault and miscommunication and they are sorry but there will be no refund that will happen. They can have the money, but me, my friends, and guests will definitely send this to consumer rights with proofs of the conversation between my friend who booked and this restaurant. Dissatisfied! Today was my first time to try the place and I am surprised the reviews are quite unexpectedly the opposite! Arrived a bit later than my friends and we had opted for the Eat all you can with hotpot. We were a big group of more or less 20 people. Soon as I arrived, the place had issues with their Air Condition. The tables where most of the people who came earlier than us, were so full of clutters and soiled plates and staff was just standing in the corner looking and not even interested in cleaning up. The place gave a filthy ambiance. I have been in so many Hotpots and the likes and our table is always clean and clutter free. The grill was so greasy that they do not even bother to come change. I will not blame the staff if the reason for their attitude is lack of proper compensation. However, management should train the staff properly especially since they serve food and customer service is paramount having so many competition in the area. All in all, I enjoyed the food, vegetables are fresh, stocks are replenished attentively. The only thing I was frustrated was the cleanliness. Should look in that aspect with great priority.
