Dear Kallayi Team,
I'm writing this review to express my horrendous experience at your Al Muraqqabat branch as elaborated below.
Together with my two friends, we visited this restaurant at Al Muraqqabat, Dubai. Midnight time around 12:20 A.M, we were sitting upstairs drinking big bottled water we ordered from the same restaurant when a waiter/ food attendant presumed Malabari Indian fat guy approached us rudely in a very disrespectful, offensive, and bad manner when we placed our fresh milk tea order by saying “it's not allowed to drink tea here and if you want tea leave from here! I’m giving you 3 minutes (?) to leave…!!! “, to which i replied: is this the proper way to talk to your customers like this? Then this food attendant shouted, "Leave !!! “. In our attempt to just leave and let go of these degrading situations and just suffer in silence, we placed 10 AED at the top of the table as our payment for what seems to be 2AED bottled water. I told this waiter who harassed us to leave and who threw us out of the restaurant because we ordered fresh milk tea and sulaimani tea from the menu of that restaurant: what do you think, we are begging in your restaurant? There were thousands and more cafes and restaurants in Dubai but we came here as old customers, to which this impolite waiter replied with discourtesy “ Go there !!! “ (referring to those other restaurants). Whew! These hospitality-industry-related experiences dated yesterday (July 19, 2024) got on my nerves affecting my mental health. Imagine being bluntly thrown out from the restaurant by a disrespectful waiter and being driven away unceremoniously after being shouted at in front of other customers in public! Even the grass bleeds…
Kindly take necessary action against that fat guy who is serving upstairs area and talking so rude with customers and if this kind of treatment you will do with your customers so no one will visit in fact i will spread everywhere about my horrible experience and i do make content videos and what if i will post one single story against your restaurant it will be a black mark and someday due to this you will lose your remaining reputation and soon it will be closed too.
Teach him how to behave and respect customers and if he can't work then replace with some new staff who can serve better with a smile and not with rude behaviour.
I will tell everyone not to visit in your restaurant where customers are not being treated well and that fat malabari guy should be terminated immediately and take action against him otherwise someone else will take legal action against your restaurant if his behavior will be same with everyone if you want your restaurant image should be good then take action asap...
Read moreOur concern is the unruly behavior of your waiter, no less than the representative of your restaurant you built with good reputation and surely with sweat, blood, tears and massive investment. How your waiter approach customer improperly without professionalism and work ethic with his deliberate cruel remarks are so ridiculous, absurd and definitely not acceptable as you said, “ for a pleasant environment and established standard. “ Like you, we too need action not pleasant excuses as we all upheld professionalism, business ethics, justice and fairness. And these malicious and spiteful remarks of your waiter surely deserves HR Hearing, Notice for Suspension and worst even termination of employment on the first offense under the ground of grossly violating company rules and regulations. While you offer tea and snacks as clearly stipulated in your letter reply, it’s then inimical and critical for the interest of business that your waiter or food attendant must upscale sales via Customer Service Delight - isn’t it? You also made mentioned in your letter reply about “ understanding that seating is limited for other guests to enjoy your services “ as we are your old customers, we always found your restaurant more in tables than customers precisely the reason why we welcome our Dubai Businessman friend who just came back from his business trip related to gold and diamond because your restaurant isn’t crowded with customers but only with table and to think that your food isn’t bad only the customer service of that waiter who don’t know how to nurture your business. It’s our interest to know then what disciplinary action your restaurant had taken for that misbehaving waiter as we all upheld for the spirit of business that feedback from customer is the breakfast of...
