I had this beach club on my list for a while, mainly because it’s known as one of the more “hidden party spots” in Dubai. However, after finally visiting on a Friday, I must say it didn’t live up to the hype at all.

The photos online were already a bit underwhelming, but I gave it the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, reality matched the pictures—cheap-looking sunbeds, some of which were dirty and clearly not well maintained. While the loungers were somewhat comfortable, they definitely lacked cleanliness and quality.

The party vibe this place is supposed to be known for was barely there. The music was actually really good, but the energy was low, and there was no real party atmosphere, even on a weekend.

The menu was extremely limited, and while the food tried to be creative or “special,” it really wasn’t worth the price. For 300 AED minimum spend, I expected far more—there are definitely better beach clubs in Dubai for 200 AED or less.

Service was okay, and I appreciated the option to call staff from the sunbed using a button. Still, that alone isn’t enough to make up for the overall experience.

I was very disappointed with my experience at Beach by Five. I went there with some friends, and we had a great time until my phone was stolen. I immediately went to the front desk to report it, and they told me that they would check the cameras.

I waited for 3 hours, and during that time, the staff kept telling me that they were still checking the cameras. Finally, I was told that there were no cameras at Beach by Five. I was shocked and angry. I had lost my phone, and the staff had not been able to help me at all.

To make matters worse, I didn't even receive an apology. The staff just told me that there was nothing they could do. I was very disappointed with the way that Beach by Five handled my situation. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
