Bohemia Beach Club | FIVE Palm Jumeirah — Restaurant in Dubai

This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a beach club, and I honestly feel like the entire setup is designed to rip people off. I paid 700AED expecting at least decent service, some atmosphere, and proper drinks, but what I got was nothing short of a scam.

The place itself was almost empty, so there was no vibe or energy at all — you could tell people avoid it for a reason. When we tried to order, the service was painfully slow. Every request took forever, and the staff came across as not just careless but outright rude. It felt like they didn’t care at all once they had your money.

The drinks were a complete joke. I ordered whiskey, and what I got tasted like water with a splash of something — definitely no alcohol in it. For the price they charge, this is unacceptable. Food and other items were just as disappointing, either delayed endlessly or not worth what was paid.

In short, this place is a textbook definition of a tourist trap. It looks nice from the outside and charges premium prices, but delivers nothing in return — no service, no quality, no hospitality. I would strongly warn anyone considering this place: don’t waste your money or your time here. There are plenty of better options around; this one is all about taking your money and giving you absolutely...

My friend visited Dubai and I had been raving about Bohemia,so we decided to join for the hustle and Harmony. Reservation was made on Monday we received a confirmation probaby the next day no mention of required prepayment when the booking was made. Fast forward to the booking date 4 hours earlier Bohemia calls to say there has been a change to timings for the package. Which immediately became inconvenience we asked for some flexibility as the miscommunication had been on their side anyway ,the manager outrightly says NO. We arrive at the venue it is dead not even busy ,yet they could not be flexible with a booking that had been made almost 5 days prior. What happened to taking accountability?The service is friendly and a little slow. The greek salad and avocado maki my friend had were really good. The ceviche was bland and lacked balance, the crispy prawn maki was a lazy attempt nothing appealing about the dish infact very under whelming. The edamame looks like it will be packed with flavour as so much is done, yet there is nothing to write home about it. The chihuahua was well balanced full of flavour, my friend really enjoyed it. This was the worst beach club experience I’ve ever had. I visited last Saturday and was extremely disappointed with how I was treated. I raised a formal complaint, and they promised to call me back—but no one did. Worse, a security guard shouted at me and even threatened me, which was completely unacceptable.

As a Muslim woman wearing hijab, I felt deeply disrespected when a male guest was allowed to enter the women’s bathroom—facilitated by the cleaner, who seemed unaware or unconcerned about cultural and religious boundaries. This shows a serious lack of staff training and cultural awareness. It’s clear they haven’t educated their employees on how to respectfully interact with Muslim guests or accommodate diverse backgrounds.

Additionally, they charged me for items without informing me, so make sure you ask for a receipt before paying for anything. Instead of listening to feedback or taking responsibility, the staff were defensive and dismissive. One even implied they only care about positive reviews, not genuine guest concerns.
