Been with a friend, who was served a cocktail āfor to taste, youāll surely like and keep itā twice, without announcing its components, structure and price. Unluckily, neither of the cocktails fit, so my friend stuck with a beer as a safe choice, and then one more. Nevertheless, he was attempted to be charged for both of the cocktails that he hadnāt drink, for the reasons, that āweāve prepared it for you anyway, itās not up to us that you didnāt like itā, āthe price has been stated in the menu lying somewhere thereā, āthereās no way to put this much of drink to the wastage listā. I havenāt heard their excuses of why the hell they have prepared the ātasting samplesā that happened to be no lesser than the servings. But in my absence, my friend tried to reason them for the next 15 minutes to come, instead of just putting the cash he owed for the beer he drunk on the table, and leave this kindergarten. He told that he has been asked his name, allegedly for making him blacklisted, and was told at his back: āMay not he forget taking the beer heās unfinished, or heāll get to the tears againā. To whoever reads this, Iād like to remind, that the hospitality should be granted with finesse, and a guest is meant to be satisfied, avoiding the āunbearable effortsā from any sides. The restaurant, thatās meant to be having its expertise and interest in assuring this, should take this task as its mission. Dear bartender and supervisor ladies, working there at night on March 13-14. Youāve been nice to look at. Youāve done a good job with avoiding one more ātroubledācocktail to be made, stating in advance the drinkās gonnabe price, and your concern of following the recipe thatās been suggested to you (that was in the beginning of taking the order). Probably you didnāt mean to be the things youāve turned to be looking like. Yet, you should study and assume the basics of your responsibilities before a customer, in advance of enforcing on them the things you see to be the due! ā otherwise, at one day, or a number of days, somebody will leave you, being within his rights of paying nothing at all to the restaurant that you work in.
A Big post-scriptum:
a day later, I visited the place again because of being told by a common acquaintance, that my review might cause some very serious consequences for the servers involved. I had a coffee and a conversation with the Assistant Manager, that followed along the event from matter to matter, repeatedly writing the down the details. We agreed upon that the servers really tried to make their best, and their attempt on getting personal details from my friend has been about ensuring a contact with him to make amends in future, instead of the alleged āblacklistingā. The Assistant Manager has admitted the mistakes nevertheless having been made from their side, but expressed a regret, that weāve not reached to the manager on duty for the situation to have a better development. I answered that we presumed them not to be present at 1 AM, and were left unaware about the opposite within the duration of our stay.
Here in the middle of our conversation, we were joined by the restaurantās GM herself. She took a sit, and after mutual introduction, I asked her if she would be comfortable if we proceed in her presence with the Assistant from the point that weād stopped, due to us already having discussed and understood a great lot at the moment. The GMās answer followed immediately with a pointed sparking gaze: ā Iām neither comfortable nor happy having You present here. Writing these reviews, youāre being completely disrespectful and ignorant; youāve misused and disgraced all your experience. Youāve been so much unprofessional.
Pause. I asked her permission to address a question to the Assistant. The GM got up and left. I understood that we ended up agreeing to disagree, on whoās in charge of what. The Assistant Manager gave up in making the efforts to figure it, too, and tried to reconnect me and the GM, but we yielded no exceptional result.
At least Iām happy that they wonāt fire anyone. But the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWell, how can I start this review? My first thought is: as badly as I can. Shot out to the "hostess" or so called "manager" that was working on 24/12 during the night shift. Like I told her, and will repeat here again: They should had hired a better manager. A person with such a disrespectful attitude and with an impressive amount of fragile ego who lack the ability of communication, shouldn't be working in a place like that. Making fun of my friend's accent? That's xenophobia as its best. And not just that, as she said "you can't come in with boots like that, your boots are not meant for this place, you should wear high heels like the others", well, my Prada boots are laughing at her face until now. First time I was there I was wearing exactly the same boots that I wore this time, but this time she clearly had a problem with that. Not to mention that the first time I was there they mistreated my friend and humiliate him, which I clearly despised and asked for the bill and left immediately. The drinks there are the only thing that its worthy in that place, as for the rest, its a massive joke. Iām not sure if I will come back again, but if the next time I step my feet there and something like this happens again, I won't be polite and leave straight way, I will be calling the police; because never forget: xenophobia is a crime. You should feel embarrassed. "Top rated" bar in town hahaha A luxurious and top rated bar would had hired better employees, not some random unprofessional and unprepared people.
Replying to the reply below: thereās a lot of ways to offend a person without swearing to them, and indirectly she was being very offensive. all of this isnāt about ādress codeā is about how we were belittled and mistreated. it was not professional and it should not happen to ANYONE, no matter the personal views she had about the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreStepping into the dimly lit embrace of the Blind Tiger, I was immediately transported through time and space by the haunting melodies that filled the air. The singer, a mesmerizing figure cloaked in shadows, possessed a voice that seemed to carry the weight of centuries upon its ethereal notes.
As the first strains of music unfurled like wisps of smoke, the atmosphere crackled with a potent blend of mystery and nostalgia. The singer's voice, rich with the echoes of forgotten tales and lost loves, wove a tapestry of sound that enveloped the audience in a shared moment of timelessness.
With each melancholic note that spilled forth from his lips, I felt as though I was being drawn into a bygone era, where emotions ran deep and music was the language of the soul. The singer's raw passion and undeniable talent held us captive, transporting us to a place where the barriers of the present dissolved, leaving only the raw, unfiltered beauty of the music.
In that hallowed space, surrounded by flickering candlelight and the collective hush of enraptured listeners, I found myself lost in the haunting melodies that seemed to resonate with the very essence of my being. The singer at the Blind Tiger was not merely performing; he was channeling something primal and profound, a force that transcended time and space to touch the very core of our humanity.
Leaving the Blind Tiger that night, I carried with me a sense of wonder and awe at the transformative power of music and the singular experience of bearing witness to a singer whose voice was a portal to the past. It was a night unlike any other, where the boundaries between past and present blurred, and I was left with a profound appreciation for the magic that lingers in the air of such a unique and...
