I’ve been a regular at Mukbang Shows from the first month they opened here in Deira. I’ve seen changes in menu and operations and have mostly been great.

In terms of food, plenty of items outside of their KBBQ, it’s pretty much what you’d expect from a Korean restaurant - right amount of spice, rich in flavor, and very big on the portions. One thing of note is their Korean Fried Chicken - the taste is a 50-50; it’s either really good or really meh. But I’d still recommend people trying it.

For their KBBQ - a no brainer, it’s great. I only order their 69 dirham menu Gangnam set - drinks not included, so I get the 15 dirham unlimited iced tea. The set does include 1 non- marinated beef, one marinated beef, 1 spicy chicken, 1 non-spicy chicken, 1 set of fish, 1 set of prawns, and 1 set of squid, along with unlimited sides, rice and soup of that day. You can request to change these up so you can avoid possible allergies. I would only recommend this set with unli drinks as it’s worth the money. Bonus flavor if you add another 15 for 2 cheese dips.

Service is amazing, tho I would say the best time to visit is in low peak hours if you want the better experience. Peak business hours vary here and it’s difficult to get the servers’ attention with so much going around.

The atmosphere is what you’d expect from a KBBQ place - smells of barbecued meat, Korean content in their TVs, and a lot of laughs and talking.

First and last time dining here with my family. If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. Our experience was unbelievably disappointing, from start to finish.

We came in understanding the rules of an unlimited BBQ setup and were fully prepared to follow them. We ordered 4 unlimited beef meals and 1 chicken for a family member who doesn't eat beef. However, the staff refused to allow this—even though we weren’t trying to share meals or break any rules. When we asked to speak with the manager, he showed no interest in helping us and simply told us to “talk to the server,” who was already being extremely unhelpful.

To avoid ruining our day, we reluctantly ordered 5 unlimited beef meals, even though one person didn’t eat beef and ended up eating very little. It felt like we were being treated with suspicion for something we didn’t even do.

The service after that was even worse. Our server had a visibly bad attitude—she clearly didn’t want to serve us. We asked for drinks, and she said she’d come back, but she never did. No follow-up, no basic courtesy.

On top of all this, the ventilation system wasn’t working. The entire small space was filled with smoke, making it hard to breathe or even keep our eyes open. The air conditioning was off, making the place unbearably hot.
