Dear Rove team,

I’d like to start by sharing my positive thoughts about your hotel. As an advocate for whole-food plant based diet and the environment, I truly appreciate Rove’s efforts to be eco-friendly. From the wooden keycards to the plastic-free service, I feel you’ve created a space that aligns with my values. The variety of plant-based options at the breakfast table is also a highlight. Not to mention, the simple, with simplistic, minimalist and yet beautiful design of the hotel makes it such a pleasant place to stay.

As a regular guest (or as you call us, Roveres), I feel like your team knows me well. You understand my preferences, and it honestly makes me feel like I’m at home, even though I’m far from it. So, Rove, you’ve really won me over on that front.

Now, let me share a few thoughts on areas for improvement, with some gentle suggestions.

First, while I love the minimalist and on-demand approach to amenities, I noticed something with the toothpaste kits. I really like that they come in paper packaging, but it would be great if the toothbrushes and toothpaste were separated. For my current stay, I received four toothbrush kits for three nights—way more than I needed. This is not only wasteful, but it also creates unnecessary environmental impact when you multiply this across the hotel. My suggestion would be: for a stay like mine, one toothbrush and multiple tubes of toothpaste would be more than enough. It’s a small change, but I think it could make a big difference. (I have picture to show what I’m trying to say here).

Second, I noticed the toilet paper used seems to be made from virgin pulp paper. Given Rove’s environmentally-conscious image, I think switching to recycled paper would be a great move. To avoid any negative perceptions, perhaps you could invest in attractive, eco-friendly packaging that highlights this change. It would make a statement to your guests that Rove is truly committed to sustainability.

Third, and most importantly for me, is the air quality. Given Dubai’s climate, the air conditioning is essential, but combined with fabric-covered furniture, it can create dust and particulates that settle on the surfaces—something I notice every morning. This isn’t just a cosmetic issue; it could affect guests’ respiratory health and general well-being. I strongly recommend considering air purifiers in each room. Not only would this improve the guest experience, but you could also market it as a health-conscious feature. Perhaps you could partner with a brand and offer a discount on these purifiers, creating a unique selling point for future stays. (I have sample picture)

Despite these suggestions, I still see Rove as my “home away from home” in Dubai. You’ve made a lasting impression, and I will continue to return.

The hotel staff’s exceptional performance truly stands out. From the front desk to housekeeping, every team member is welcoming, professional, and always ready to assist. The housekeeping staff ensures that rooms remain spotless, enhancing the overall homely feel of the hotel.

One of the standout features of the rooms is the sofa bed, available in every room, which provides an extra bed without the need for additional arrangements. This makes it a great option for families or groups traveling together.

The amenities at Rove Hotel are excellent. The outdoor pool is perfect for a refreshing swim, while the self-laundry service adds a convenient touch for long-term guests. Ample parking is available both on-site and outside, ensuring a hassle-free experience for those with vehicles.

Breakfast at The Daily restaurant is a delightful experience, with a variety of fresh and delicious options to start the day right. The cozy outdoor sitting area, connected to the restaurant, provides a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal or coffee.

A beautiful park right next door adds to the charm of the location, featuring walking and jogging tracks along with lush green seating areas, making it a perfect place to unwind.
