My stay at Somewhere Hotel Apartment was an absolute delight from start to finish. Its proximity to City Centre Deira Metro Station made navigating the city a breeze, and being just a stone's throw away from the sprawling City Centre Deira Mall was incredibly convenient.The fact that it's only two metro stations away from the airport was a huge plus for me, saving precious time on travel. Plus, having access to the metro red line meant easy exploration of Dubai's iconic landmarks like Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, and Dubai Marina.The breakfast, though à la carte, exceeded expectations, especially for a vegetarian like myself. If there is lower than 1 star I’d rather gave that. Booked online just to surprise my girlfriend and wanted her to relax on her birthday. As I arrived to the hotel I gave 2 EID to the receptionist. Then, I prepared my surprise and went down again to buy something. I was really surprised when they ask again for my EID which I left in the room so the scenario i have to go up again and 1 of the staff was following me acting strange ,like I did something wrong. That time I already feel disappointed.. So after I picked up my girlfriend and ready to show her the surprise we we’re again asked for an EID.. like.., seriously? How many times we have to provide ID’s? Ist how you guys treat ur guests? Most of the hotels provide slippers,toothbrush, etc. which I didn’t get from this hotel. I tried to use the telephone to connect with their room to room service but phone is not working as well.. felt ashamed to my girlfriend that she have to go down again and asked for the things that we need during our 1 night stay. I have doubts about the authenticity of their high reviews. The hotel is outdated, dirty, foul-smelling, with mold everywhere in the bathroom, washing machine is not working....

And the worst part is the customer service. On the day I tried to locate the hotel, the Miga storm hit Dubai, causing seven hours of road travel amidst flooding. Despite using GPS, I couldn't find it. When I called the hotel for directions, the rude receptionist immediately stated the strict no cancellation and no refund policy, and she insisting I contact the travel agency. I explained that I only needed help with directions and intended to keep my reservation if I could reach the hotel. Her response was dismissive and impolite. She remarked that other guests had managed to find the hotel without help with directions!

She suggested using Google Maps or parking my car and getting a taxi, warning that my reservation would be canceled without a refund if I didn't show up.
