To those reading my review, I'll let you judge how does it feel to find SHARDS OF GLASS FROM THE FOOD YOU ARE EATING! This was the most unexpected thing ever happened, and clearly something big enough to get the restaurant to shut down- if I had enough presence of mind during that situation to click pictures of what I found from the food I spat out. Had ordered paneer biriyani, and while I was eating a spoon full, suddenly bit on something hard, and thankfully spat it out to inspect what it was. To my horror, found a small piece of glass broken into two! While I was panicking with what just happened, they took my plate to check anything was wrong, and I did the mistake of throwing the tissue paper onto which I spat the food and rinsed my mouth. They came back saying nothing was found, which infuriated me, so I went back and literally picked up the tissue to show them what I had in my food! Only then they had the minimum decency to own their mistake and then what, just reluctantly said sorry! I'm still not sure if I had swallowed any bit, and still concerned about what would occur if I get any complications due to this. And seeing the way I was stressing, my dad went to have a word with them, for which they were reluctant to own their mistake anymore, and treated as if we are trying to extort money using this incident!! My biggest regret is that I allowed them to inspect the tissue with the glass piece and didn't take any picture of it, and also didn't have enough of presence of mind to see what the manager was slyly doing by silently discarding the tissue. So, now there exists no evidence of their grave wrongdoing, and in turn, I'm being insulted! Never stepping into that branch, and any other branch of Gazebo ever in my life! Literally, a...
Read moreWe went to gazebo to have dinner and ordered few items like their famous yakhni mutton pulao and vegetable biryani and ramadan special mutton haleem. Biryani were ok not tht great and the rice looked similar tasting in Both mutton n veg biryani. Moreover wht was really shocking was when they brought the bill it shows mutton biryani 52 dhs which is really double the price of even a fine dining restaurant. Just because of the demand they started hiking price and brot it to 52 dhs and I'm very sure they will increase it more mark my words. This is how restaurants cheat their customers who are loyal and come there for the taste. Mutton haleem was pathetic felt like I was eating porridge. For God's sake I request management to stop cheating people and do honest business. The desperation to make money is so evident they you can easily tell from looking at the menu that you are being cheated. Finally I ordered shahi tukda which showed 20dhs. Beleive me we got 2 tiny slices of half cut bread with tiny bit of rabdi on top as if it was given for free. I laughed when it was served and waiter saw me and my wife was asking me why you laughing, are you going to pay 20 bucks for this pathetic desert. I request everyone to just give a pass for this restaurant and there are better options next to it or you can try food from...
Read moreMy love for Mughlai cuisine knows no bounds, and every single time I crave the mesmerizing flavours of the tandoor, there's only one place I find myself dreaming about. Whether it's the succulent kababs, the fragrant biryanis or the classic butter chicken - made a tad sweet, just the way I like it, Gazebo never disappoints.
Having been a loyal customer for over 20 years, it's safe to say that Gazebo can do no wrong when it comes to the finest Mughlai fare. I still remember the first gosht Hyderabadi biryani I ordered years and years ago, and it amazes me that it still tastes exactly the same to this day. Gazebo's top-notch quality and unwavering consistency are the reasons it continues to be my family's go-to for our weekly Mughlai fix.
Not to mention the fantastic service that is bound to make you feel extra special. They're not joking when they call it The Royal Indian Journey! No matter which branch I visit, I'm always greeted with the warmest smile and utmost courtesy. Right from being escorted to a supremely cozy private cabin, to devouring a glorious feast and having my every need tended to at the touch of a button (literally! IYKYK), it's never a dull...
