Overall. Vibes was good and drinks were nice.

Waitress told us it is ladies night and they can drink from a selected menu for 99 AED. I asked about discounts they have for men and the reply was none.

Before paying the bill we noticed a happy hour menu which was on a table menu facing away from us, and 1 of the drinks I ordered just so happened to be on that menu.

When it came to paying the bill, I was being charged 75 AED for the Suffering B@st@rd which was the drink I ordered.....despite it being happy hour and it costing 59 AED on the happy hour menu.

When it come to disputing the overcharge I was told that I ordered from the main menu and I did not mention happy hour...true!! But if you didn't tell me it's happy hour and I don't work it out for myself does not mean you can charge full price. And even if I did have the menu open when ordering it's too see a description of the drink which you do not display on the happy hour menu. The happy hour menu does not state I need to mention that I want to order from the happy hour menu.

And the audacity to tell me I ordered before 10pm?? My first drink was ordered before 10pm and given to me after 10pm which was not on the happy hour and I did pay full price for.

But my second drink I ordered well after 10pm and received probably 10 minutes after I ordered.

To go and check with your manager and still come back with an attitude is beyond belief.

I recently had the pleasure of celebrating my dad's birthday at Trader Vic's on Palm Jumeirah, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere set the perfect tone for the evening. On top of the amazing food, the live entertainment was a highlight. A talented Colombian band performed throughout the evening, and their energy was contagious. They really brought the restaurant to life and added a vibrant, festive atmosphere to the celebration. It was the perfect backdrop for a family dinner.

Attending the Saturday Brunch at Trader Vic’s Palm Jumeirah with my family was an unforgettable experience. The atmosphere was simply sublime, creating the perfect setting for a relaxing weekend meal. What stood out most was the exceptional service—every member of the staff was not only professional but genuinely warm and welcoming, making us feel truly special.

The food was a masterpiece in both taste and presentation, offering a variety that catered to all palates. Cleanliness and attention to detail were impeccable, and the overall ambience was a flawless blend of sophistication and comfort.

However, one issue slightly marred an otherwise perfect experience. A member of the staff mistakenly charged an adult price for one of our children. While I flagged this at the time, the error was only resolved after I completed the payment and later explained the situation again. Although the refund was processed, this mishap could have been avoided with greater attentiveness. It’s unfortunate that the actions of one individual could reflect poorly on such an outstanding team.
