Breakfast with Santa Last year we had the most wonderful experience here for the breakfast with Santa. This year I was so excited to book up again but our experience was shockingly different. Last year the atmosphere and decoration were fabulous, the tables looked beautiful. This year …. Nothing. How can you charge 160 per person and 80 for under 2’s (that usually eat barely anything) and not even decorate the table. We ordered, and the food came out fast, the food was half the portion of last year and stone cold…. all 3 of our dishes were stone cold and looked like they were prepared the night before. I thought I was going crazy that it can’t have changed so dramatically from the year before that I checked my pictures from last year…. Huge portions with amazing presentation, fresh and crispy hash browns, compared to this years tiny soggy burnt ones. The poached eggs ordered medium were completely hard boiled. We got offered a hot chocolate at the end like last year…. Last year it was beautifully presented in lovely glassware… this year we got a cold hot chocolate in a paper cup… 160 Dhs each… and given in a paper cup…really?! You’re clearly not ordering to go if you’re ordering in at the restaurant?! Out of the 3 hot chocolates included in the price we took only one. They then had the cheek to make us pay extra for ONE extra poached egg my husband had asked for with his breakfast… again 400Dhs and you’re then going to charge extra for requesting one more egg? Don’t get me wrong the Santa was amazing! And the photos were great with great effort by the staff. I felt the need to write a review because I was just so shocked about how different the experience was for us last year compared to this year and how down hill it has gone… new management maybe? We were welcomed warmly and he really did go out of his way to accommodate our orders and stay comfortable to indulge our lunch. HE immediately familiarizes himself he stayed throughout our dinning at the restaurant even though his working shift is over what a dedication …. He also has positive attitude, has a passion for what he does, humility, teamwork, patience, calm under pressure, initiative, can delegate, leads by example, has a great communication skills, proactive. “He also has an excellent Culinary Expertise. Made us go through the menus and explained thoroughly My daughter was speechless for her marshmallow hot chocolate treat by Alemayehu The atmosphere was relaxed which was perfect to have a conversation. The overall service was excellent Menu and the combination of flavors, textures, and presentation was well worthy of the 5 stars the food, service and atmosphere were amazing. . The food is artfully presented, service was excellent and meal was very memorable.

Read moreAs many other reviews have mentioned , we experienced hideous service at this restaurant. Food was decent and the view is nice as you can sit and watch the inside of ski dubai and even penguins around 3 and 6pm by the window table .
We entered and noticed the staff sitting on the table themselves and didn’t even bother to get up to assist us . We walked ourselves looking for a table and found one we liked . We asked for the service and ordered for coffee and pizza. I ordered cortado or macchiato whichever they can prepare . They got what looked like left over espresso with a drop of milk on top. Pizza was decent . The bald waiter has an unbelievable attitude problem . He took our menu while we still were waiting to order and when no one came to check on us , we decided to walk to the cash machine to pay our bill. He was rude again and was definitely having a bad day. Acts like he’s the owner who’s giving the food out for free . The restaurant was almost empty , so I can’t imagine how they act when it’s full . I noticed management can’t be bothered to reply to any reviews which proves they couldn’t care less so I doubt anything will change but I hope few people can read this before considering...
