Hot Sushi Bar — Restaurant in Aberdeen City

Ordered sushi and squid ring. Sushi was surprisingly good, should be the best I have so far in Aberdeen! Went with soya sauce, wasabi and ginger with nice presentation. However quite gutted about the squid ring, not sure what’s wrong the texture was different from what I have usually, so didn’t finish them. Definitely will order again, but only focus on the sushi.

Added: I ordered a few time more from the restaurant. Sushi no doubt are the best in Aberdeen I ever had, no disappointment, delish and very nice presentation. I then finally decided to give another go for the Squid Rings in my last order, cause Squid Rings are my all time favourite, I really like this dish. I tried it once I got it, hope to be fair to have it when it’s still fresh and hot, but again I found it wasn’t like what I have usually, taste like thick and chewy dough like last time which I didn’t finish again. Got hot sushi one of which unagi tempura. The flavor is good especially if the unagi tempura. However I was disappointed with the remarks the staff behind counter was saying, so I decided to have a look at the order before leaving. Staff told me what is meant to be in, it was hard to see before opening full box.. There was 1/4 of a shrimp in 2 pieces, and tiny piece of eel in each. 6/8 кусочков были совсем без креветок. Не очень приятно слышать ремарки из за стойки « и так съедят». Good idea not to good execution.

I haven’t even eaten this and I’m already leaving a 1 star review. We arrived at the premises at 6pm to be told it’s valentines and busy so would be an hour, no problem, we paid for delivery and we’re told it would be an hour regardless. It is now 9.10pm and we still have not received our food. 2 phone calls later to basically be told “nothing we can do sorry” is just absolutely not good enough.
