I visited LAND on January 13th with my husband, we both had an absolutely stunning experience from start to finish from people who clearly care about every aspect of what they do.

From the moment you arrive you are greeted by the friendly, engaging and knowledgable staff who promptly take your belongings and seat you. The environment created is very relaxed; earthy decor in an intimate setting where you are aware you are having an elevated fine dining experience.

We were celebrating an anniversary too which the team very kindly placed a card on our table from the staff - a thoughtful touch.

We were guided through a set a menu with a few delicious surprises along the way. We were never kept waiting and as one course finished another timely began. The waiting staff and restaurant staff all working together to create what felt like a seamless experience.

I am not a person who takes pictures or grabs my phone readily, however I could not resist on this occasion. The food was absolutely stunning. Every single element had been considered from texture to flavour profiles - with each dish visually being plated with the same care as it was created. There was an incredible balance across the food that was so fine at times; some elements occasionally became challenging for me in a couple of dishes, but it was new and creative - it felt exciting to keep digging in and embracing that experience. The quality of ingredients and flavour profiles were absolutely amazing, we could not wait for the next dish at each turn.

My husband and I both had a pairing; myself the wine and my husband the non-alcoholic. The wines were beautiful and complimented the food perfectly, I even have something new to have at home! The real surprise was the non-alcoholic pairing though, I tried each one of my husbands and wow - absolutely fabulous. We could tell the same level and thought had gone into creating this experience as any other part of our experience which is not something we have come across. My husband has not had alcohol in 7 years and often does not get a full experience as it is rarely considered, but this was not only thought about, it was done so with knowledge and care - it was genuinely a highlight for us.

I have been vegan almost 8 years now and I have began to lose my love for food in the most recent, finding it difficult to have experiences where the same level of care and passion is put into the things I want to eat as those also usually sat at the table or around me. LAND has truly ignited that love again and I cannot wait to experience the next menu.

Surely a star is on the horizon?

Thank you for a fantastic evening...

Absolutely amazing!

We had the chefs table experience at LAND recently. It costs a little more than standard dining but was totally worth it for our first visit to the restaurant as you get a view of the kitchen and can interact with the chefs which was interesting and really added to the whole experience.

We were really looking forward to the food and it did not disappoint. We are not vegan but have been exploring plant based cuisine more and more so were excited for our first ever fully plant based dining experience. The food was absolutely exquisite, with so many interesting techniques and flavours. We ate several things that were new to us and likely wouldnt have picked off a menu but now that we've tried, would definitely eat again. The little mushroom and celeriac appetiser was one of our favourite things, along with the butternut squash terrine with sunflower cream and chilli crunch which was incredible. We had 7 courses plus 2 one bite appetisers over the course of 2 hours and felt very satisfied by the end of it. Each course was pefectly portioned so as not to feel too much and no two things were alike. The skill and effort involved in creating each dish was evident. For such a small place they also had a really good drinks menu and i tried a couple of their cocktails which were delicious.

The whole vibe of the restaurant is very calm and relaxed and it was obvious that all the staff were perfectly in control and happy at their work. It ran like well greased clockwork and was really nice to see such a smooth service with not one visible hiccup. The kitchen was impeccably clean (we could see right in from the chefs table view) and the chefs frequently cleaned down which is always a reassuring thing to see and something we particularly look for.

Overall we had an amazing experience here and will definitely be returning, most likely with others! Congratulations to the owners on such a wonderful establishment with such a great atmosphere...

My boyfriend and I came across this beautiful little restaurant on an app called wriggle and thought we'd give it a go, not knowing what was awaiting us as we had never heard of this place before.

When we arrived we were surprised that it was completely empty which quite frankly usually is not a good sign. HOWEVER, we were super happy we went in anyway. A lovely french man was waiting that night so he told us all about the restaurant and how it only opened 3 months ago (which is probably why we had never heard of it). His knowledge of the food they were serving was immaculate and the wine we had was very good too! Throughout the evening 5 more people dropped in for food which made me happy, as everyone should taste this goodness.

The menu is quite short which makes it easier to choose from. Everything was vegan or vegetarian. We each had a vegan starter, a vegan main, and shared a dessert. We even got an amuse bouche before our started which were served on a little pebble mountain (see photos). I thought that was so lovely presented and on top of all that those crackers, again, were phantastic! After that, still before our starters, we go a slice of bread each with butter... And wow that bread was tasty! And they make it themselves! Every single dish was mind-blowing! If I could afford it, I'd probably have dinner there every night... We both just didn't want this to end.

This place deserves a Michelin star or more! It was fabulous from the beginning to the end and I can't wait to see their business thriving! It deserves it!

I am not sure if the restaurant has an upstairs, but it has space for 12-14 people on the ground floor, I think.

Perfect for couples, after work dinner, friend dates, and all the food lovers 💓 can't wait to go again.

Don't be shy if it isn't busy in there. It's worth going in anyway, and I'm sure people...
