Today about 7pm I visited the branch. A double cheeseburger was awful, smelling rotten and tasting old oil and it felt raw. I thought human error happens anywhere and it was not my day. I spoke to a young man and described the issue. He offere to replace it with a freshly made one. That one was not fresh and it was cold but did not smel and taste as the first one. I brought it back and softly reported the situation. Then, context changed! Couple of lady staff started to question me and the none verbal agression took over the context. Rude, rude, and rude in tone and body expression. I have heart condition and felt dizzy. At the end while I was asking them to check the food with some expert within the company, they offered to replace it in a way as they were throwing it at me. I rejected the offer and then in an extremely rude manner a lady named Charlotte or challette (I might be wrong) ordered other lady to refund me which I said I did not want refund. I asked the name of the arguing lady. She showed me her badge and then asked my name the same way she was talking. I am sure she had no legal ground to ask about my details but I gave her my name anyway. Have I been agressive toward them? Have I been rude to them? There must be cc camera and other witnessing staff were there. I simply felt threatened and insulted, just because I reported a fault. Funny, when I was talking to the first person, a lady customer was there sharing the same story with me but she was complaing about chicken menu. Hand on my heart, I am still feeling ill and the rotten smell of that burger lives in my head. Rotten food and rotten customer service... If Mcdonsld wants to increase prices, then we have to let them do it to provide the society with better products and more socially adjusted labour. Dear Mcdonald: Pay the staff better and treat them more humanly to avoid cultural...
Read moreLeigh a team leader could not have been more rude or unprofessional than she managed today. I placed a £55 order for collection, I understand it was busy but after 20 minutes i was told "its gonna be a while because its a big order" now after 30 minutes they start handing my food to me with just a poor attitude of having to ask for the serviette and straws. After then getting back to my table and having noticed 4 portions of chips barely reaching to the first lip, I simply asked leigh if it would be possible to have them just to be made into 4 medium size portions and she looked in the bag and then threw them in the bin and told the rather intimidated staff member to remake them !…… all i was asking for was to top up and she decided to throw them and when the next lot came much of the same again….. i asked her to do the same, which she then proceeded to say "i aint filling them anymore so i asked the crowd of people around if they thought they were full ? as she must enjoy making a scene and intimidating customers who just put up with her attitude. I then said I’m just asking for a reasonable filled box which was “i ain’t dealing with you anymore. I said about the picture and more charm of “they never look like the picture”. She then stomped off to her manager Russ, pity that man having to work with leigh and her obvious can’t stand people attitude. After hearing leighs chat with Russ because she was at the front counter as well and she had her voice raised at Russ. Leigh felt her argument of not giving out chips to even reach the front lip if the box was more important than anything else!!! it was fine to throw 4 boxes in the bin. Honestly I can’t believe how rude and disrespectful she is to customers and the people she works with. On a positive Russ come over and topped up the 4 boxes and that was how...
Read moreSo I brought a double cheese burger and while I was there waiting I kindly asked the manager to make sure my burger was cold as I’m pregnant and need to be careful, and when it comes to fast food I’m probably more paranoid then necessarily (first time mum) he said no worries and fast forward to me getting my meal. Guess what the burger was stone cold so I asked to get it back. I got my new burger and it had bacon in it and I can’t eat bacon so I asked them to send it back. I got my new burger and guess what it was stone cold again. This time the same manager came along and told me he wasn’t replacing the burger because it was hot so to prove a point I grab a bit of the meat and pinch it. Please tell me how I would be able to do that if the burger was hot like he was saying it was, just because the cheese was melted around the bum not on the meat of that makes sense. I was fighting saying it wasn’t hot and the security guard came in and said the same thing it was cold and to give me another burger the manager said I won’t be replacing any food or money due to her being an awkward customer I tried to explain to both of them that. Normally I don’t complain about McDonald’s because let’s face it you never get hot food, but due to being pregnant I have to be careful. There was a lot of back and forth saying the same thing, but I wasn’t getting anywhere apart from stressing me out and my baby so I just walked away paying £7 for chips and a drink. This is at the point McDonalds so...
