Fabulous restaurant with trendy decor. We received a warm welcome when we arrived. The bar is well-stocked with beer, wine, cocktails, etc. The menu offers a wide selection of vegetarian, pescetarian, and meat dishes. The assorted popadom selection for two is actually large enough for four people, and the homemade chutneys are delicious. The Gobi Manchurian was our favourite starter, although the Tawa lamb chops and soft shell crab were excellent, too. For mains, the Monkfish Malabar and Goan seafood were really tasty, and the lamb and potato dosa was worthy of any main course. There is also a bar in the restaurant offering a comfortable area for those just looking for a nice drink only. All in all, Jungle Junction offers a fabulous dining experience.

The new kid on the curry block had a lot of strong competition. Firstly the place looks good, loved the decor. Shame we went on a Tuesday night and it was dead. I know it’s hard to get them mid week customers so I can excuse that. So far so good. Then the poppadoms came! They were classed as mixed popadoms, and they were kinda weird ngl. Also they were a £5. Most places do them for free, baring in mind popadoms are basically fresh air. Main course, cracking naan bread. Fresh chips. Dosa (my Mrs choice) her words “overpriced and not massively flavourful” Basically it was fine. And just that. Gonna struggle to come here again when the other guys on the block are so good. 3 stars. Down rated due to comment. 2 stars

Thomas & his team gave us a perfect first experience in their new Mowgli restaurant at Chichester a few weeks ago. We enjoyed a drink by the bar whilst we looked at the new menu and then the dining experience itself was outstanding! We were really looked after well and all our food tasted sensational! We absolutely loved our time at Mowgli Chichester and we will more than happily visit again as often as we can. Thank you ever so much for making us feel so welcome and we are excited to see how the restaurant progresses in the near future. Dan, Sean & Scott

Food was good, although slow to arrive. We dined at 7pm and it took till 8pm for our starters to come out. Mains seem to take a long time to arrive also. We had 6 people on our table and the restaurant wasn't full when we arrived. The waitress teams were well interesting... a male who was far to overly friendly and actually became quite rude and annoying.. balancing a wine glass on one of persons heads.. removing a mobile phone from the table causing unnecessary panic. A female who was quite frankly rude and came across grumpy through out the time we were there.

The food was good once it arrived, and every table was getting some free dishes due to delays in food. Dont give free extra food which takes time out of the already slow kitchen... give us a complementary drinks would be my advice. The cocktails I feel was probably the best bit for me. Chilli mojito was gorgeous.

On asking for the bill we seemed to wait forever it then appeared there was a problem. Nobody communicated it with us but there computer system or something had gone down. Leaving no way of them producing a bill to us. We had some cash between our group and the manager was happy with what we left. Would we come back.... not in a hurry, does things need to...

Gosh what a letdown from our first experience here. I've never experienced such rude arrogant aggressive behaviour from a waiter in 40 years of eating out. I think the waiter clearly had some issues. Rather than continue to accept his behaviour I asked for the manager but he said he was the manager but turned out to be a lie. I can't even describe the 4 incidents he created but he got very aggressive in the end which was absolutely shocking behaviour for a waiter. He just wanted to argue and when my mother went to pay it needed proof of her signature but he wanted photo ID but he wouldn't accept it when he was shown her ID. I tried to explain that it was just the signature on the card the machine was asking for and then he tried to say the signature didn't match, but they were identical. That's when the real manager had to step in because the waiter turned aggressive. The manager was very apologetic and calmed things down but unfortunately we will not be returning....the food was ok but my chicken was a little chewy.....just thought I would mention the food as well. The first time we went was excellent and we had a lovely experience there. Such a shame...

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience here. While mixing curries with rice and vegetable dishes is something we normally do, the entire meal had to be thrown away after discovering a strand of hair in the food — a clear indication of poor hygiene standards in the kitchen.

Even more concerning, one of the dishes that was advertised as chicken actually contained lamb. For customers with dietary restrictions, religious considerations, or allergies, this is not just a minor mistake — it’s a serious breach of food labelling regulations under UK law.

When we raised these issues to Deliveroo, they made no effort to resolve the situation and brushed it off with the excuse that they “don’t compensate for food not to your preference.” This completely ignores the seriousness of the problem — this wasn’t about preference, it was about hygiene, misrepresentation, and food safety.

I was only refunded for 2 items when it really affected the whole meal, no apology made, and no responsibility taken. I’ve reported the matter to the local food safety authority and would strongly advise others — especially those with dietary requirements — to avoid...
