Matcha made in heaven! Super cute & cosy cafe specialising in Japanese cheesecake that are so light and fluffy, & flavourful hot & cold drinks.

Box baskets to pop your jacket & bag in under your seat. China tea sets with Totoro on them & proper cake forks elevate the vibes in here.

The lady staff member was super helpful (I was on crutches) & provided fold out stools to wait on a table becoming free.

Matcha cake was packed full of flavour, moist & light with cream instead of icing Not sugary, the matcha flavour will be overwhelming if you are not used to it as this was punchy! ❤️

Matched with a fresh peach iced tea which could also be taken hot.

A jiggly chamomile & berry cheesecake was delicate in flavour with a good balance of tang & sweetness from fruit.

I do NOT enjoy British or USA cheesecake but this is light after eating, leaving a clean finish in the mouth instead of a coating.

A hot matcha latte was indeed hot, and just look at those foam bubbles!

3pm on Sun & it was full. Take away available. Dog friendly. Unlikely to be able to accommodate wheelchairs or buggies due to the long & narrow nature of the shop. Unsure of...

I don't get the hype honestly, wife liked it though

Maybe I'm not the target market, but all cheesecake all of the time just isn't my idea of a good pudding. The seating here was also so unbelievably uncomfortable that it sort of cut short any enjoyment. I realise I'm coming across as a grumpy old man at this point though, don't worry 😅

Matcha cheesecake, 8/10, wifeyface loves her matcha, loves her cheesecake. I had a bite, it was alright.

Crême brulee cheesecake, 7/10, I had this one, it was actually pretty good, creamy and light, I initially enjoyed the novelty of crunchy bruleed sugar on top, but actually it didn't really add much to an otherwise plain vanilla cheesecake. It would have been better warm all the way through rather than chilled with a warm top.

Overall the cheesecake itself wasn't terrible, but it was not cheap and I felt the uncomfortable seating and cramped tables were all conscious design decisions to get people in, spending, and out again as quickly...

That was a really good cheesecake!! Smooth and soft, not too sweet, made my Slavic soul happy ♥️ We tried the hojicha cheesecake and lemon & melon one, as well as HK Lemon tea, and my friend had flat white (and iced matcha latte beforehand). All delicious! My favorite was hojicha one - the flavor of tea was strong enough but not too overpowering, with a nice aftertaste, and a good cheesecake texture too.

I just adore the amount of detail, just take a look at how beautifully it gets served, the plates, the cutlery, the cups 🥹 They have Ghibli art on the walls and overall cute relaxing decor around, as well as baskets!! to store your belongings while you sit at the table. So thoughtful 🫶🏻

The girl who's making the cheesecakes seemed lovely and passionate, thanks for having us and will be back to try other...
