Two stars for the food which is on a consistently average standard. I wouldn't mind paying for it if they did not try to rip off hard working customers when they felt like it.
Apart from the friendly Irish waitress and the assistants the managerial staff are miserable looking a in their dealings quit often With rude manners . Went in had a breakfast roll and an espresso I just asked for warm tomato's but the guy charged me an extra 50p for that without conveying there would be an extra charge before doing it. However I did not have the lettuce that they listed would come with it. So even though I had subtracted an item I got charged more. the espresso was poor quality just like a drop of an Americano. The irate manager presented me with a final bill of £4.80p. Threw the change on the table like he was working in a foreign bazar at some tourist city , fleecing mug tourists a bit like Edinburgh of 2016 then.
For a snack and a coffee at Cafe Nero you pay for better produce and service however here the price did not match the standard. That was how it used to be; There was a time when there was a difference between the informal and the posh. Of course that was before the city changed beyond recognition.
The council just rolls over and allows it to happen without giving two hoots about national ambiance so you end up with a high street full of high charging Johnny come lately's and the likes of Starbucks.
when I questioned him about the high price it seemed like he had to invent figures to justify it and was not happy when I questioned his sharp practice. No itemised reciept either. I was in a rush so did not have time to argue. I wont...

". the coffee and hit chocolate were nice, but overall would not recommend if you...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe came here for breakfast with 5 people ā the place was clean, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. All the ingredients were fresh and everything was made to order.
The only big downside is that they didnāt accept cards, they mentioned that it was due to a technical issue but there was no sign indicating that itās cash only and they didnāt mention anything when we were placing our order ā plus, the prices in the menu could change depending on hay you order⦠then I strongly recommend that you ask if there is any additional (hidden) cost when you order something.
In general, if youāre looking for an early spot to grab breakfast, I...
