Bar82 — Restaurant in England

Absolutely terrible service. Such a disrespectful attitude to their own customers. I was here, with my fiance, at 05.11.2022, on my days off. We order coffee and cuban cigar, that they sell inside the bar. We came to smoke and relax after job, on our deserved days off. This plays positioned itself, like a place, with courtyard, for smokers, with ashtrays and possibility to buy cigars, right inside. If you are true esthetic smoker, you should know, that smoking cigar - it's a pleasure, that take a lot of time. But, when to the courtyard came another customers, with the small toddler (don't know what about we're thinking this people, if they taking baby to the smoking area in the place, for adults), we were interrupted in a very rude manner by the security guard. He said, that we are not allowed to smoke, in the smoking area, cigar, that I bought inside the Bar82. Absolutely ridiculous. To all their customers: if you will like to pay them money, and enjoy your cigar, cigarettes or vape, you can be rudely, disrespectfully interrupted, and asked to leave, just because, some other customers with babies, have more rights, than you :) Such a disappointment, it was my favorite place. It's a pity, that some owners don't have understanding of service...

We ordered an Old Fashioned and a Monkey 47 & tonic.

The gin and tonic came quickly but when tasting it, it was clearly whisky. We have Monkey 47 at home so we know what it tastes like. What was served was definitely a whisky.

The old fashioned took well over 10 minutes to serve. The waitress seemed far more interested in chatting with other customers than preparing the drink. When it was served, she dropped the orange peel on the floor and then picked it up and served it from the floor.

Suffice to say, we will never return and I would recommend that you stay away too. There are far better places at far better prices with far better...

First trip out for a night out after lockdown and a request from my son to go there to celebrate his 25th. It appears Bar82 do a perfect Amaretto Sour, unfortunately, I was the designated driver so couldn't sample one first hand, but my girlfriend and everyone else really enjoyed the night. Pizza was tasty, (though I hear "eating is cheating" when on a night out at a cocktail bar!) Lol, but I was happy with it, being unable to sample their alcoholic works of art.
