Duffy's Bar — Restaurant in England

What a great drinkery! Central location, friendly staff, a really warm and authentic atmosphere, lovely beer and some really great bands playing in a well-equipped live gig room with its own bar. No beer garden as such, but there is a little smoking yard contained internally within the walls of the building, something like a quad in amongst school or office buildings, which is a cool feature; but it's really the building itself, the decor, the staff, the attendees and the bands that play that make this place what it is. The Duffy's Bar Orchestra are the resident band, playing a soulful selection of charming folky tunes. Having been here, it will probably now remain first choice for a quick pint or even a few beverages accompanied by music and banter. Decent small venue in the city centre opposite the court! Great pint of Guinness but that is to be expected given the place name. The gig room is compact and dark and caters for the punk & Metal community. Many gigs are free or donate what you can. Close parking is a struggle especially at the weekend. I recommend parking on Bosworth Street and walking in (10-12 minutes) Sound is decent but it is a little gloomy and could do with a bit more light on...

Well-known in Leicester as a great gig venue as well as pub.

This has a relaxed atmosphere where you can kick back and enjoy what is on offer.

They show sports too on the tv screens.

There is a garden to the rear also one has to go to find.

Staff here are super friendly.

Reasonable prices too.
