The store appeared open around 9:35 am, and having enjoyed it before, I planned to visit again. However, upon entering, I almost slipped, felt a hernia strain, and was surprised when the staff (owner) informed me they weren't open until 10:00 am. They mentioned they don't put out 'caution slippery when wet' signs until opening time, suggesting I window shop at my own risk. If this recurring issue persists and the freeholder/leaseholder hasn't addressed it, considering a letter to the council highlighting it as a slip hazard requiring repair at the leaseholder /freeholder's expense might be worthwhile. Meanwhile, please ensure a 'slippery when wet' sign is placed outside for safety as soon as the store's lights go on. This measure is crucial for safeguarding both the dedicated staff and customers who take pleasure in observing the commendable activities within your shop.

I was blown away by this deli/coffee shop. I was on the last day of my holiday when I discovered "Pickle and Dill" So I will definitely be coming back to the Isle of Wight. I am very picky about good coffee..I enjoy a deconstructed latte so I can add the perfect quantity of coffee to the steamed milk. They were completely happy to supply this and even served me extra hot milk. For brunch I had poached egg, avocado & smoked salmon on sourdough bread. This was beautifully presented and delicious . If I lived on the island I'd be in every day. The owner should be extremely proud . All the staff were relaxed and friendly.

After visiting few shops I found truffle, truffle paste and truffle oil to be able to cook at home! I love to support local shops and try to buy as little as possible on the internet. It’s great to see what you have been looking for 😀 I would love to come back & try food! You are very well stock with fresh products such as cheeses, vegetables, Isle of Wight garlic, best Italian dry Pasta and Spanish products 😃 Your homemade cakes 🍰 look delicious 😋

Arrived at 14.54 to have some lunch. On arrival at the counter, an unfriendly male (chef?) was there. I asked if they were serving, to which he reasonably checked the clock and said until 1500. I asked for a sandwich and drink, to which he asked whether I was taking away. I said I would be eating in, given there were tables of other people still eating and drinking I assumed that would be ok. Not a very friendly start to proceedings.

I sat down in what was a lively time (X3 loud women drinking wine and eating). The food arrived in a reasonable period of time (10 minutes) and it both looked and tasted very nice. A young man, who didn't look very happy, did come over to check that my food was ok, which was a nice touch.

A higher cost for a decent sandwich of £9.

Overall the customer service fails considering...
