Excellent coffee and friendly staff, I had Guatemalan coffee but many other types are available. This coffee shop is the only one I have visited in Chester that caters for the the true coffeephile, it offers a wide range of different coffees in their different forms i.e. cappuccino, long black, flat white, latte, etc, etc. I'm definitely not a coffeephile, so it was wasted on me. Most coffee shops just offer 'coffee', some offer a couple of different coffees, and most have a choice of cappuccino, latte, americano, etc.
The only problem with this coffee shop is its location, you need to make an effort to find it. It is located just below the North Wall and can be accessed, by steps down from the wall (see my photos) or off Northgate Street. Read moreI only leave reviews for very bad or very good places, and this is definitely the latter, and I can only add to the other 5 star reviews below. Not only are the owners delightfully friendly and inclusive, but the coffee was outstanding - and as Melbournite’s we are pretty demanding - and care was taken to make it exactly how we like it. The food options are limited to a small range of cakes and pastries, but if that what you want they are delicious. Loved their scheme to "buy a homeless person a coffee" (Yes, I trust them to do it). I had an excellent espresso, served by the very knowledgeable barista, and then a friendly chat about coffee making and coffee beans. If I happen to be in Chester again I'd definitely revisit.
