Jaunty Goat Coffee — Restaurant in England

On a trip to Chester recently, I’d stopped for a bite to eat at the Jaunty Goat.

My friend who lives in Chester swears this place was great for food and drink. So I took some time out and did just that. Although I’m not a Vegan, I still enjoyed everything this place had to offer.

The ambience was lovely, tastefully decorated and with comfortable seating inside, it was a great to stop for a light lunch, mid afternoon snack or even just a coffee.

The staff were so friendly and polite, I’d mentioned I’d never been there before and could they recommend food and drink options for me.

For something to eat I went with Wild mushrooms on toast with pesto and a drink was Iced Peach tea (it was a hot day)

The food arrived in good time, it was hot but not overly and tasty. The staff were always around but not that you felt “mithered” as can sometimes happen.

Amazing plant based food. Plant based full English and a chunk of Banana cake for one of us. Lovely and Amazing! Oyster Mushroom and some other mushroom on a slice of sour dough with a basil and garlic drizzle, avocado as a side and the sweet potatoe hash as a side. Totally amazing! All with a carafe of clean cold water for a pound. ❤ Staff and customers were amazing. Clean toilet, smells great, Dyson hand dryer, loads of toilet rolls, just in case! Absolutely incredible coffee shop! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with such warmth and kindness. The girls who served me, my husband, my mother-in-law Emma, and my friend were truly outstanding. Their friendliness, attentiveness, and genuine smiles made the experience so special.

The coffee was some of the best we’ve ever had, and the atmosphere was both vibrant and relaxing at the same time. It’s rare to find a place that combines such high-quality coffee with such wonderful service, but Jaunty Goat has mastered it.

We left feeling not only caffeinated but also uplifted, thanks to the amazing team. Honestly, what an amazing coffee place — we can’t wait to come back!
